Today was the day of my debut for Chelsea. I've played at Liverpool my entire football career. I started out with the Liverpool academy and recently made it to the female team.
I was a bit nervous. I was never really a talkative person unless I feel comfortable with who I'm around. However with the Chelsea girls I felt immediately at home.
As I was warming up on the side line, I could see Ben in the family box looking down at me and smiling. I wasn't sure if I was playing today, but really hoped I would get a few minutes of play time.
We were going up against Man City and were down 1-0 at minute 60. I had obviously gone against Man City while at Liverpool, and know that they're a quality team.
There was a certain someone on the pitch who I haven't seen in a while. Ruby Rose. My old childhood best friend or ex-best friend.
We were the bests of friends, that was until she slept with my boyfriend, and well they're still together till this day. However that wasn't going to distract me.
I've moved on, now I have Ben who's the best boyfriend I could ever ask for.
I was then told I was going in, so I quickly took off my training vest and put on the new Chelsea kit. I always knew blue was my color. As I stood next the assistant ref, I nervously jumped in place to warm me up a bit more.
I high-fived Sam Kerr as she walk over to the bench, and I touched the grass with my hand then did the sign of the cross the ran into position.
I felt the nerves start to creep up inside me again but when I looked up at Ben smiling at me they all disappeared. I took a deep breath ready to play the sport I love most.

Minutes later the game ended 2-1 Chelsea, and I managed to score and assist on the day of my debut. Seconds after the ref blew the whistle I had walked around the pitch greeting the opposing team.
I then approached Ruby.
"Hey, long time no see" I said.
"Oh, hey Mavis, congrats on the goal and the assist" she replied.
"Thanks, good game"
We had actually had a really nice conversation. I really had missed talking to her but I really didn't trust her. She didn't just sleep with my boyfriend. She slept with multiple of our friend's boyfriends.
Eventually we parted ways and I saw Ben making his way through the tunnel. Once I saw him I immediately ran over to him, jumped into his arms and pulled him into a big hug.
"You did amazing out there babe, you killed it!" he said kissing my temple.
"Thank you!!, how was your day as a WAG" I teased.
"It was fun seeing you destroy everyone out there, you looked sexy as always, too " he said smirking.
"Oh stop" I said blushing as he set me down.
"Ben stop, I'm all sweaty" I said as he hugged me from my waist and dug his head into the crook of my neck.
"I'm all sweaty after my games and that never seems to stop you" he said kissing me more with a smile on his face.
"Get a room!" Said Lauren James as she walked past us, making us both laugh.
"Mavis they need you for an interview" said Sam Kerr.
I pulled out of the firm grip Ben had me in making him groan. I then followed Sam over to the interviewer who seemed to work for Sky Sports.
"Mavis, tell me, how do you feel after scoring a screamer of a goal and assist on the day of your debut?" Asked the middle aged woman.
"I feel amazing, I'm glad that I was able to help the team out today, and obviously I couldn't have done it without them"
" I don't mean to start any drama, but I think we all noticed the tension with Ruby Rose" she said, making me chuckle.
"No Urm, I was aware that she was going to possibly play but that however didn't distract me, I was completely focused on helping the team out today and luckily that went as planed, after the match I had a small normal chat with her and I wouldn't necessarily say that there was tension, because I've moved on and would like to leave the past in the past and enjoy the present that is with Ben" I said looking into the camera with a smile then to the interviewer.
"Speaking of Ben, a few minutes ago, I saw you two hugging and I must say you two are a very cute couple. Tell me, is it hard with you two being football players?"
"Thank you, sometimes it is a bit difficult for us to have alone time because we're at training at different times, but since Ben is injured I do spend more time with him taking care of him"
"Alright thank you for your time have a nice day" she finished.
"You as well" I said walking back to Ben who was talking to Reece. I told Ben that I was going to get my stuff and shower so that we could go home.
"Why babe ready to go home" he asked.
"Yup" I responded saying goodbye to Reece and Lauren.
"How was your interview"
"Strange" I chuckled
"Why's that"
"Wasn't really about football, was a bit more personal I guess?" I said shrugging.
"They asked about Ruby" I chuckled, he sighed.
"But the end of the interview was better" I smiled.
"And what could that possibly be about" he smiled.
"You" I said blushing.

Low-key trash, but what can I say it's my speciality. Anyway. There is no such thing as Ruby Rose, I simply made her up.
