Stiles sat outside on the porch of the big house, his foot tapping on the ground as he continued to hear the shouting from inside.

He caught a few words every now and then,"...Artemis would never...some kind of sick joke...a mistake."

Was that all he was, a mistake? The son of Artemis, yeah, that sure sounded like a mistake. Stiles remembered a myth where a normal human hunter accidentally saw Artemis bathing and she turned him into a deer for him to be hunted down and slaughtered by his own dogs.

Was that his Mother?

He tried to take a deep breath to settle himself but it didn't seem to work.

Artemis, the biggest man hater in all of Mythology, had a son. It was one thing to learn that he had two Moms but it was another thing to find out who it really was.

Did Claudia and Artemis...Stiles couldn't even finish the thought because it was too much for his mind to bear.

The door opened and Stiles stood up, Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus stepped out and glared at him. Then raising a fist she went to punch Stiles but he caught it on a reflex.

He let her go, and she swung at him again, but he backed up a step making her hit the wall next to him instead, making her cry out in pain.

"Leave camp before I kill you," Thalia snarled, holding her swelling hand.

"Thalia," Chiron warned, rolling out of the house in his wheelchair,"While you may have been a member of this Camp before, you have no right to band anyone from it."

She spat on the ground in front of Stiles before walking away.

Sighing, Chiron turned to Stiles,"Let us speak."

They both sat down on the porch, Stiles just stared at the camp, watching kids pass along, gawking at him like he was a strange new creature in a Zoo.

"I had feared something like this," Chiron admitted,"But it wasn't until today that I knew how devastating the situation was."

"Can she be my Mom?" Stiles asked.

"I don't know," Chiron admitted,"She has claimed you as her own. Something that she had never done before. You see, Artemis is--"

"A man hater?" Stiles finished for him and the centaur nodded.

"For a long time, and she swore to never have children. Though, if it is true and you do have both mortal and immortal Mother...It is something that's never been done before."

Stiles swallowed,"And what does this mean for me?"

"I was there that day Artemis made her vow of maidenhood," Chiron said,"I am older than her by a couple centuries and when she first walked into Olympus's throne room, little more than a few days old she knew what she wanted. And she and Zeus vowed that she would remain a maiden forever and that she would never know the touch of a man."

"Great, so instead she got my Mom pregnant."

"She found a loophole, Stiles. After thousands of years she could have procreated but she chose now to do it. Why?"

"I don't know, man. But I'm still having some serious doubts about being a...a son of a maiden goddess. Especially one like Artemis."

"In every way that you were claimed rooted out the possibility of you having another godly parent. The armor could have been a gift from Athena, but the moon above your head said otherwise. Selene, the lunar titan, could have been her symbol, but Artemis's stag...Something that has rarely even been seen by both mortal and immortal eyes showed itself and bowed to you. It has only done that in the presence of Artemis."
