The search for Leonora has begun to take its toll. Days of searching for her, only to hot dead ends. It's as if she disappeared off the face of the planet. How that could have been done I am still unsure of. I've just finished a meeting with one of my associates when I get a call from an unknown number.

"Scarpone." I answer.

"There seems to be a lot of trouble on the east coast these days."

"Arturo." Why the fuck is he calling me? The last time I saw that motherfucker, I had just finished putting a bullet in his zio's throat.

"Vittorio. You know, I had a meeting with the Russians about five days ago." He reveals, waiting for me to react.

"They approached my father and requested a meeting in which they asked us for assistance in eliminating your organization." He explains when I don't. I almost laugh at the absurdity. Kill me? They could try, but the empire I've built is everlasting.

"So why are you calling?" I quip as I walk out of my building and onto the busy streets of Manhattan.

It isn't common knowledge that the Outfit and I have a temporary ceasefire. Carmelo and I had agreed to it after my father died and I took over New York. I caused a bit of a commotion when I eradicated the five families. Maybe that's why Carmelo had came to me in the first place.

"One of the conditions of our agreement was that Nikolina Banks would kill you within a week." I stop in my tracks.

"You wouldn't be that stupid. It would breach the terms of our ceasefire."

"I'm aware and that's why I'm calling to warn you. The Russians are unaware of our agreement and that is why I pretended to take their offer. Now Banks is on her way to you. This is basically a gift." He replies.

If it's been five days since their meeting, Banks would have two days left to deliver on her end of the bargain. Meaning she could very well be here as we speak. I take a look around the parking garage. It's pretty much empty with only me standing next to my car on this level. I know my guards are idling in their SUV outside the entrance, but send them a text alerting them of the threat just to be sure.

"I'm sure you're more then capable of taking her out, Vittorio."

"Keep me updated our your fake alliance with the Russians. And the next time you take five days to inform me of these things, I'll shove our ceasefire down your throat and watch the life drain from your eyes." I hang up before he can say anything more. After taking one more glance around the garage, I get into my car and drive off with my guards following closely.
