April 16th: back home

I guess Sam wasn't joking when he said he would pick me up if I were in trouble.
If anything I was more embarrassed About the situation then hurt.

It was my first week back and I'm already getting beat in front of the man who just transferred here. I was lucky enough that Sam was there to kick open the door.

The moment I got home, I knew something was wrong.

The front door wide open with screams and yelling come from the inside. At the front Emma could see her father's car parked in front of the house. Worry Struck Jan, and Emma fear almost took control of jay and he could barely move.

"Why is he here? It's too early for him to be here. We had two days till he would have come back." Jay panicked, everything would have been fine if Natsu, and Jan weren't here. If Jay knew anything more Ben hated when people came to the house that's why the house was made in the woods, and outside of town.

"W-what...is..he-e doing here." Emma cliches herself, hoping it wasn't true.

"I don't know, just wait in the car. No one gets out till they leave." Jay parks the car away from the entrance, so Ben wouldn't see the car full of people.

"Jay, you can't go in there. If he's drunk then.....it doesn't matter let's just drive off. Your father will be at you let's go." Natsu takes a moment to swallow his spit, but continues urging Jay to drive off.

"I can't, if I go on now. I know later on it'll get worse, and if I don't go in he'll be there all night waiting for us....it wouldn't matter much I'm sure he already knows we're here....just wait here it won't take long." Jay pauses to think but reluctantly gets out of the car and heads to the house.

More sounds came from the house as soon as Jay walked in. The yelling also got louder, Emma could hear the sound of glass breaking. Fear of something bad happening to Jay, Emma's heart stops in fear. Ben usually likes to hurt Emma more but if the event of her not being there Jay would get hurt in her place. But usually it didn't matter to Ben he didn't pick favorites and would beat each of them.

"Emma, you can't go in there. Jay said to wait here. You have broken ribs if you go in there you can get hurt even more." Jan sees the fear in Emma's eyes, knowing Emma, Jan knew that any moment now Emma would jump out of the car.

"I can't just stay here, and wait for Jay to come out hurt or even worse dead." Emma grabs on to the door handle and attempts to open it.

"Emma, if you go in there it'll be much worse than what jays going through right now. Jay could be just talking to him if you go in there now your father might start hurting you as well." Natsu says holding the door shut so Emma wouldn't get out.

"Natsu, I know what I'm doing just let me out. I'll get hurt so the teachers won't worry about Jay." Emma says trying to open the door.

"Emma no! Just stop whatever's going on there you can't go out there by yourself." Jay says trying to hold Emma back from the door.

"Do you think Mis. Soma already called child protective services? But how did your dad find out about the call? Did Mis. Soma call your dad or did the services go to your dad." Jan says trying to distract Emma from going outside and seeing the bigger picture of the situation.

"I don't know, but I don't think it's about Mis. Soma calling child support." Emma says clearing the air about the situation.

"Then why is he here?" Jan questions Emma sending her a glare for answers.
