(Stanley POV)

April 17th
(4:20 a.m): what happened?

At the beginning I thought Sam would stop killing...maybe even enough to get him through high school. But I know now even if he were to continue in school the only thing he would do is kill more people...even more I fear he might get caught, and all for that girl.

I know well that it's not my place to force Sam in whatever situation I want. Sam's his own kid and I know he can take care of himself.

But even now as he sits here in front of me covered in blood. I know it wouldn't be the last.

When he had gotten home, he told me he had just killed the schools nurse. A lady named Mis. Soma.

When I asked why all he said was she tried taking away what was his. He meant the girl and I knew well.

"Sam, really when I put you in this school I wanted you to stop killing. If you so desperately want to get Emma then you have to stop your wild killings. Honestly, Sam what if you end up scaring her? You wouldn't be able to live the same way. Have you ever thought about what would happen if she were to find out your a cold blooded killer?"

"...that will never happen."

"And your so sure she wouldn't tell on you? For God sake Sam you killed one of her friends!" I continue saying, yelling at Sam for his dangerous acts. "If I knew any better I shouldn't have put you in the same school."

"That's enough Stanley....You damn well know I can take care of my own problems." Sam's voice filling with rage.

"Do you Sam? Because at first you almost got your girlfriend in prison, and now the more people going missing at your school the more people will start suspecting you for the crimes."

"But did she Stanley? Did she? God, Do you really think I'm that dense? I murdered over 50 people, maybe even more. I plan my murders, even with the little time I have. Even when I'm not going to school I'll continue killing people. Even if students go missing the police will just suspect it's the daily killings of Rivers Towns killer! Yet I'll have a bigger passion of killing every single student there for every shit they've done to Emma. Yet I know of course if there were to be so many killings in one place the police will be sure to catch up to me. That's why I'm already started planning the murders as if they were to happen to every person here in this small town."

Sam mentions one of the names of the people given to him by all the killings he has committed. It's been a miracle Sam hasn't been caught. Sam always been planning his murders. No matter how tight the situation got. Sam can always finds a way to get himself out of trouble. The plan wasn't bad but Sam had lots of things to do to commit these murders. And I fear he might get caught trying to do so. The boy puts a maniacal grin confirming all his plans would come true.

"That's great Sam, but all you're doing is setting yourself up to get caught. Once people find out you're the town's killer they won't hold back on you."

"Good..I like a little game."

"Sam..I need to talk with you about Emma. I know that you think killing is the best way to get her, but it's not. The girl will love you no matter what you do in your life. Yet I don't think Emma will understand."

"Your wife understood you, so why not let me try. After all I still need to find out if she knows anything from that night. Although most of my murders are planned I intend to find out every single piece of information I can gather."

"Sam, that's not the issue here. Emma's been through a lot and most people know it. You on the other hand barely care to see around the problems Emma's in right now. Thinking about this Sam you could get caught with her around. Emma's already been in prison once before, her father is the reason for it....Yesterday her father Ben came to the bar. He got drunk and his wife came to get him back. Ben didn't move and just continued drinking. When he had stopped he left the bar with him beating her on the way out." I pause not able to say what I wanna say to Sam.

"So, you think because he beats his wife, he also beats his children....I know, believe it or not I was there in the nurses office when the conversation came to mind. The bruises and fights that's been going on. I found out their father beats them and not only that their friends know about it, yet do nothing to stop it. It's a shame but now I honestly don't care what happens to her friends. If they aren't willing to take matters into their own hands. Then I'll have to be the one to take her out of her problems. I know very well I can't take her out of her problems without killing a few people." Sam stops then turns to take a seat on his bed.

"So, you believe killing all her friends will get her to like you? Sam that's not how you take her away from her problems instead you're causing more of them for her."  Thinking about it makes more problems for everyone. Once Emma goes missing and so does everyone they'll know who did it all.

"Well like you said she has problems, how better will it be for her to take her away from it. If she doesn't like it then I'll let her go. I won't force my hand up on her. I'm willing to set my life up for this. Just like my father I'll go to prison for the one I love, yet I'll do it differently."

"Is that what you want Sam?" I wait for an answer hoping Sam would come to his senses.

"Yes, I knew about the risk when I asked to go to school. I knew this meant putting everything aside to make things work." Sam sighs but not out of exhaustion, but more out of relief. "I have a plan it'll take a few days but everything will play out the way I want it to."

"I...i hope it does. I really hope you're right about this."
