Hello there brave individual, you must be the new mechanic. Welcome to your new job, I'm going to take you step by step on explaining what the animatronics are that reside in Snike's Diner.
There is a spread sheet with drawings next page to assist you in understanding the animatronics even better.

Let's get started.

1. What is a Likening Co. animatronic?
Likening Corporate is owned by Oscar Likening, the founder and owner of Snike's Diner. The animatronics are made by highly precise blueprints developed by Oscar. Each animatronic has their respective characteristics and equipment, each one also hand made and assembled, for the up most quality.

2. What exactly are these animatronics?
These animatronics are made with hydraulic systems that enable them to move and walk properly. Unlike the old wooden and wearable suits, these ones are made of metal, rubber, fiberglass, glass, plastic, and paint. The animatronics are equipped with AI made by Fast Food. The AI is adaptive, curious, and observant, constantly learning from reactions and it's environment and going from there to make their own personalities. We are currently in possession of 4 Draulic Suits, suits also engineered with hydraulics but made to be wearable by a performer. The Draulic Suit has been discontinued after a incident with Rush and a performer during testing.

3. What happened?
...

3. What is the purpose of these animatronics?
Their purpose is to perform, entertain, and be a role model. Each animatronic, except Roger, Snike, and Crush, have their own rooms, the exceptions share a stage happily.

4. Why do these animatronics need a mechanic?
Incidents with consumables, people, and foreign objects cause these animatronics to need someone who can fix them up and send them back on their way.

5. Consumables.
Food, Drinks, and other things that people can consume are often shoved into the mouth of animatronics by children or uneducated adults who believe the animatronic can eat or drink, these items cause the animatronic to lose mobility, lose their voice, cause hydraulic damage, system failure, power off, and even unrepairable damage: example: on the 5th of June, 1993, a customer placed a bottle of Coca-Cola in Spike's mouth, causing him to jolt and freeze up, Spike's AI was still active and due to the freeze up, the AI, once unfroze, showed hostility towards people for a short time.

6. People.
People stick hands, arms, heads, etc into the animatronic. Such actions can displace or break parts of the animatronic, I.E. teeth, eyes, hydraulics, wires, metal frames, and the outer shell. Some people in Thorn's room get too drunk and pick a fight with Thorn, Thorn, not understanding a fight, tends to get hit often and his fiberglass shell gets small dents, or paint chipping, often coming in for small repairs.

7. Other things.
Things like lose hydraulics, wires, frames, and shells can break off and cause the whole animatronic to shut down.

This is the things you need to know for now, your job it's to repaint, remove, and assist the animatronics until you are promoted, then your will be working with more complex components of animatronics.

Reminder. Do not tamper with the animatronics, you will be fired and sued for potential damages.
