Concealed Comfort

You dread the darkness

Once the lights turn off

You bring out the monsters

In your vague

You craved

features to them

makes them scary

And you run away

You were so tiny

Who caused it?

Who taught you

To be afraid of your imagination

Who told you

Darkness  is scary

Who brainwashed

And made you

Fear the dusk

Now you embrace the darkness

The blinding lights

Brings the comfort

And once the sun shines

Like a vampire

You hide under your abyss

And calls it comfort
