few days later

the bell at the cafe' door rings signaling someone had entered, a girl enthusiastically waves her hand at him. "minhyuk!" she smiles. the latter sits down, "hi, irene" minhyuk smiles at his girlfriend. "missed me?" he asks smirking. "of course!" irene smiles taking minhyuks hand. "i miss you more though" minhyuk laughs. the couple enjoys their date.

hand in hand, swinging back and forth. the two teens smiled at eachother lovingly. "what do you want to do sooyoungie?" sungjae asks, tucking a piece of hair behind her hair. the girl points at a ice cream shop "lets eat ice cream" she says giggling.

after the date, sungjae walks home, listening to music, humming and skipping around. it was weekend, the bullying at his school had stopped, he felt peace. all his brothers were out doing their own thing, so sungjae was heading home after a date with his girlfriend, sooyoung.

flashback

the day after the incident, he decided to go to school. ilhoon and peniel bids their goodbye to him before going their own way. sungjae sighs walking into the school building, he was stopped by a girl. "wait!" she says. all his focus goes on her. "sungjae... i like you". the boy's heart skips a beat as a smile forms on his face "i like you too" he says, offering his hand "be my girlfriend?" he asks. sooyoung covers her red face, taking the latter's hand.

end of flashback

sungjae smile's remembering the memory, but soon it fades when he opens the door of his house. his feet seemed to stop at the door step, eyes fixated at the scene infront of him, his father hanging from the ceiling fan, right next was his mother. his whole world seemed to stop, his eyes didn't seemed to be able to produce tears.

shaking, he takes his phone out calling minhyuk. "h-hyung..." he stutters, "what's wrong sungjae-ya" minhyuk asks with concern in his voice, it maybe his holidays but he decided to go on a date with irene. "eomma... appa..." sungjae breaks down. "sungjae-ya i'm coming" he hangs up.

not long after the phone call, minhyuk pulls up at the drive way. he sees sungjae sitting at the door with head in his knees, ambulance seemed to carrying away two corpses. he didn't have to look closer to understand who they were.
walking up to sungjae, taking him in his arms. "eomma... appa" he sobbed harder.

at the funeral the seven boys sat there, many of their relatives came to give their condolences.

that day the 7 boys lost their parents, eunkwang took care of all of them financially. all of them were too broken, they lost the loving parents that raised them. the whole world seemed to have stopped.

eunkwang and minhyuk tried to be strong for the younger ones, changsub decided to make himself busy with work while hyunsik got home drunk every night. peniel seemed to be always out of the house, ilhoon tried to stay strong for sungjae, who locked himself inside his room for several days.

slowly they fell apart, arguments, them leaving the house one by one and not returning. despite sungjae's begs for his brother's to stay, they all turned a deaf ear to the younger.

years seemed to pass, one by one, the brother's never saw eachother. too busy with their personal lives.

five years pass by, all the brothers seemed to be curious of eachother's health, but no way to contact. they all regretted turning a deaf ear on sungjae, oh how they wished they could see eachother again.
