"Lizzy," my head perked up at my nickname, "why didn't you tell me you got full marks again?" My best friend Ansley asked, shaking her head. "You know how serious I am over marks."
"I didn't get full marks," I mumbled, ashamed.
"Bullshit Lizzy, you got a 94 on it, that's amazing," she exclaimed. She doesn't understand that full marks means that I'm good enough, that I'm living up to my brother but I can't do that, I could never because all I ever do is wrong.
"Oh that reminds me, I need you to catch me up," she batted her eyelashes.
"Ansley, I'm not sure if I can, I'm already trying to catch others up," I tried convincing her I couldn't but thats like trying to tell her to not wear make up.
But I did it anyway, Why you ask?
Because it was the right thing to do
