"Mom," I called. I need to get her to sign my test, the test I wasn't good enough for. Ever since Max graduated with perfect marks, mom has been expecting the same from me but I keep letting her down, I can't be the perfect child no matter how hard I try.
Max had been one of the most popular, helpful and the smartest in Maylee high and everyone wants me to live up to those standards.
"Yes honey?" She yelled back.
"I need you to sign my test," I nervously laid it on the desk, I ran off to Max's room before she walked in, so I could avoid the look of disappointment.
"Sweetie, can you come here for a minute," My mom walked out of my room and I walked into her.
I met her eyes and had to look away.
All because I wasn't good enough...
