Page Five - Orientation

While I was in the middle of a movie-which is I don't know the title. I almost forgot that, today is monday, tapos ngayon din pala start nung orientation namin, omafagaaaa.

Napasabunot nalang ako ng buhok, tumakbo na ako sa kwarto para mag-halungkat ng damit.

Kaya siguro, umalis yung room mate ko kanina '' Tss '' .

Tsaka yung guy na andito, bigla nalang umalis.

'' Kaya pala, kaya pala! '' sumigaw na ako, tumakbo ulit ako sa bathroom para mag-quick shower. Late na late na ako as in.

Nung nakalabas na ako ng room namin, nakalimutan ko pang kunin yung susi! Kaso late na, na-ilock ko na yung door namin. Inis na inis akong nag-lakad papalabas ng building.

Pg-labas ko, may mga mag-kakaibigan na mag-kakasama, may mga couples, may mga single din. Ay ano ba yan, kung ano-anong napapansin ko. Eksato namang may malapit lang na babae dito sa tabi ko habang nag-lalakad ako.

'' Hey, i'm Page '' Sabi ko sa kanya, habang ini-aabot ko yung kamay ko sa kanya, at ngumiti naman ako nung, tinanggap niya iyon.

'' Lizzie '' she replied, tsaka sumabay na ako sa pag-lakad niya. Mukha namang mabait kaya-okay lang. Kaso ako, ewan ko lang. I just laughed at the thought of that.

" Newbie? " she faced me.

" Yeah, I was just gonna ask you how to get to uhmm " hindi ko muna itinuloy yung sinabi ko kasi, I want to make sure what's the name of the school nakalimutankokasi.

So, I took the white paper in my bag, that the lady gave me yesterday.

" Okay, let's see " while i'm scanning the paper. " Oh there, Crawford Academy. Do you know how to get there? Cause i'm really really late for the orientation, it started at 8:35 so i'm like 2 hours late. ".

" Mmm, that's not bad. I actually go there, and one more thing is- you don't really need to go there if you don't want to. Wait, give me your paper " she said, so I handed it in to her.

"Let's see what your subjects are .. Hmm you have easy subjects ey? "

" I do? " I asked her back.

" Yeah, you only have, drama, gym., etc, etc " she said, while turning the page to the second one. " And, oh you have a spare time like me. "

" Oh that sounds cool. Thank you " and she returned the paper to me.

" Anyway, I also have drama right now so, we could just go straight there. "

" Reallyyyyy? " nag-liwanag mga mata ko.

" Yeaaaaah, omg you look like a kid. But a pretty-scary looking kid. " she giggled.

" Stop iiiiit " I said laughing too.

" So tell me something about you. If you don't mind " she smiled nanaman. Medyo parang mahiyain siya. Kasi pag tuwing tahimik kami, ang awkward ng atmosphere, feel niya rin siguro yon kaya kung ano-ano nalang ang tinatanong namin sa isa't-isa.

" Yeah sure, I don't mind. So, again- my name is Page White. Half-half. " and she stopped me by asking " What do you mean by half-half? "

" Uhm, half Canadian and Filipino? " I answered. Not sure if she's gonna get it or not.

" What the fish what?! " tili niya, and ako naman- I got confused.

" What's the matter? " tanong ko ulit.

" Can't you see? " she asked me again.

" Can't see what? " I asked her back.

" Can't-you-see-that-i'm-half-half-too?! Omgggg! " She said. Pero ngayon, tumatalon-talon na siya na parang bata.
