As the pumpkin queen, she couldn't wait to.. "Lucy, LUCY"  "Wait, what, huh?" I shake my head out of my daze as she says, " Can you stop zoning out for one second? I need you to go to the fair, and sell this years harvest of pumpkins." "Sorry mom, I will. Are they loaded in the truck or..?" "They are, so just sell them out of the back." "Ok bye mom see you later!"  "Wait hold o.."

Whew, that was close almost got a lecture there and it's always the same thing stop zoning out or pay attention, be responsible and all that. It's not my fault I can't help it.  And can these keys please start this damn truck? Dad ether needs to fix it or get a new one. Every time I pass the DMV there is a red, old truck just like this but obviously in way better condition, I mean my family has had this truck since grandma passed and the was about 15 years ago.

This is a trial run, so any constructive criticism is welcomed and if anyone sees this, tell me if you want more and anything you want to see or I need to fix to make this better. Thanks!😊 This is also an excerpt from the story.
