Summer Camp

Day 3 (the final day of camp)

The next day Charlotte was lectured by the canp leader for not asking for help in the first place, and for also using the survival kit completely wrong. The survival bag had a radio, flares, walkie talkies, and an emergency button that called 911. It would have been much better for them to use any of those items rather than ruining a relic canoe by setting off fireworks on it.
Afterwards, Charlotte and Matt just laughed about how dumb the whole situation was, but they were still happy because they got a friendship out of it and a story they would never forget. <3
Matt however was scarred from the shed after that so both of the boys decided to give up on their bet. They missed their own beds, there was a lot less camping fun and a lot more boring work than they had expected. When they arrived home they both told Nick about everything that happened. Nick laughed and then his face went completely serious. "You realize you still lost the bet. You didn't last more than a day working there. It was such a low bar but it looks like you are my minions for an entire week and have to do everything I say. Minions, go make me some lunch."
Nick waved his hand to shoo them away to the kitchen as he laid back with his shades on and enjoyed the summer.
Matt was about to make some sandwiches when his phone pinged. He checked it and saw 'New notification from Char'. Chris nudged him in the arm and asked Matt "Who got you smiling like that?"
