Seriously, Goldfish?

Quick rant because why not, Y'know?

So, I have a big question... why is it so hard to find the underrated flavors or versions of brands? Think about it for a moment with me.

I'm obsessed to hell and back with tea; specifically a brand of iced tea known as Gold Peak Tea. They have two really good flavors: raspberry and green. The issue is I've only ever seen both flavors in two or three places. And they are absolutely divine too! But I don't ever hear any talk of the flavors due to their lack of popularity. And it's as if they don't exist, simply because they're so rare to find. This goes the same for my favorite chip brand ever: Kettle Brand. My absolute favorite, personal top-notch, S-Tier, worth-more-than-any-amount-of-gold flavor is Pepperoncini(Pepper-chi-knee). And I've only ever seen the flavor in two King Soopers my entire life. And I'll never fail to forget the time they didn't have the flavor in stock for months; anywhere! I know that the Pepperoncini flavor is probably more well-known than the green tea flavor of Gold Peak Tea, but it's still frustrating.

This isn't even considering the fact that I can't find some of my favorite flavors of gummy snacks or candies from when I was a kid! It's sad, because one day I'll just be sitting and suddenly think back to a nostalgic snack from my childhood like I ate it three hours ago. Then I'll drop everything, typing madly, mashing numbers and letters into my phone to find it. Then the let-down follows in my hopeful pursuit online.

Visualize this; you're scrolling and skimming text after text, website after website to find this old-time favorite. In excitement, you pursue this long-forgotten sweet endlessly. But as you go onwards, the joy of hunting for that treat fades. You realize that not only you forgot of this delight, but everyone else did too. Everyone else forgot it because it had been cut from the line of flavors–possibly not just the flavor, maybe even the brand. Your heart sinks, but you continue to scour and look for it in an attempt to ascertain this upsetting information; even possibly reject the idea so you can rejoice in finding the treat again. Eventually, your search ends, and you concede to the upsetting fact staring you in the face: the flavor is gone and never coming back.

I've experienced that so many times and it always hurts just as much as the last time. I even felt the experience all over again as I was writing the description. It just hurts, and I hate it, and I need to know why brands put me through this pain.

You gotta tell me man, why did you discontinue the S'mores Goldfish?? That stuff was the bomb, yet you just had to cut it off! Seriously, why did you do that????

Hopping back into the underrated flavors talk, I need to speak some Trader Joe's real quick. They have so much shit you can't find anywhere else. And yeah, that's the same for some other stores, especially when it comes to products made by a grocery store, but Trader Joe's has it bad in my State. You can't find half of the store's items anywhere else.

But I got a different complaint: they're Chocolate Chip Pain Au Lait. They're so underrated that I swear I'm one of the only consumers of this goodness in the universe. And the store itself made it too! It's neglected but completely made by Trader Joe's and only sold in Trader Joe's.

Now, it's time to complain about ice cream flavors. How in the hell does Talenti seem to be the only brand with legit flavors that resemble foods? They stack ice cream flavors in nice and neat layers, adding a different texture in there with a complementing lil' treat like a sauce, a kind of nut, or a topping of sorts. And they got so many examples of this too! Talenti has Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Salted Caramel Truffle, Strawberry Shortcake, Confetti Cake, Dark Chocolate Cherry, and millions more. And they're all so delicious.

And I get it. It can be an expensive ice cream Brand, Talenti, so not many people will know it. But you've had to have seen it once while digging through the ice cream flavors at King Soopers. It's unfair to their dedication that they seem to be neglected a lot.

It's bs, all of it.

I gotta end this here or it's going to be over 1,000 words long. Thanks for reading my mass complaints about brands and flavors.
