Chapter -6-

Yeosang's POV

I start to think,

I don't know why, but for some reason, I want to protect her. Just like I wanted to, but never got to do for Chaewon.

Hongjoong's POV

Everyone's set to go for our mission. It's a simple mission to kill this gang leader before tomorrow for 100,000 grand. I jog up the stairs and meet Yeosang at the top of them.

"You're gonna have to stay behind with the girls and we all expect an explanation of who Yiren is when we get back."

He sighs and says,

"I know."

I nod and go to Yiren's room. I head towards her room, so I can let them know that we're leaving and Yeosang will be in the living room if they need him. But instead, I listen to their conversation as it sounds odd. It seems like it just started. Yeri's saying,

"Remember me?... Oh, come on. I know you didn't forget me. Who's your favorite person ever?"

More silence. A second later Yiren finally replies and shouts,

"No way! Is it really you!?"

I can hear the happiness that follows through the rest of their conversation.

"Yes, you idiot! We all know I'm your favorite and the fact no one can replace me."

They both laugh.

"So, is my disguise good?"

"Hell yeah! I would have never known that it was you!"

"See, I'm just that good. But Imma just be honest about one thing though, faking suicide is painful!"

"Well, you're a painful person to be with, like I can feel my brain cells dying right now,"

Yiren says then starts laughing.

"Hey! That's not funny!"

"Sorry, sorry. But have you told Yeo yet?"

"No, and I'm not going to."

"Why not?!"

"Because it doesn't matter. I'm going to die soon enough anyway."

"What do you mean!?"

"I'm going to finish my goal and it's probably going to get me killed, but it's worth it. Well, first I'm going to make sure the person who hurt you gets what they deserve. But hey, I'm here now, so let's make the most out of it."

They then start to talk about random things and I decide to enter the room.

"Hey, girls. We're going out for a mission, if you guys ever need something Yeosang will be downstairs in the living room."

"Okay, thanks for letting us know."

I leave and think,

"What is she up to?"

Yeosang's POV

-2 hours later-

My bracelet starts beeping, letting me know that a call is coming through. It's from Hongjoong. I swipe my hand over the charm and hear Hongjoong say,

"The mission was successful. We're on our way right now and we all expect to see everyone in the living room ready with their life story.
