Unexpected - Chapter Two - Isabelle Davis
Unlocking the door, I pushed it open and went straight towards the bed. My legs hurt horribly, and I couldn't tell why.
"God, my legs hurt." I groaned.
"Didn't you have a softball game yesterday?" Aurora asked, wheeling her suitcase into the room.
I nodded. "Yeah."
"That's probably why." She laughed.
I did a belly flop onto the bed and pulled out my phone. I typed in my pass code, something my best friend doesn't even know, and pulled up my Twitter account.
I scrolled through, not minding the first few Tweets. Jack Johnson's name popped up on my screen along with a shocking tweet.
@jackjackjohnson: saw the cutest girls in the elevator today. hoping to make one of them mine. ;)
I gasped.
Surely he wasn't talking about us, right? Then again, I didn't know.
"What?" Aurora appeared beside me.
"Jack," I laughed. "He tweeted about us."
She grabbed my phone from my hands and read the tweet. Her cheeks flushed red as she handed the phone back to me. She shrugged.
"Eh." She mumbled.
"Eh?! The Jack Johnson tweeted about us!" I yelled a little too loud.
"So?"
I shook my head.
"Never mind." I groaned.
The hotel phone rang next to my bed. I scolded myself for laying back down, considering I couldn't reach it. I stood up and shuffled over to the phone, answering it.
"Hello?"
"Yeah, is this Isabelle?" I recognized the voice immediately.
Johnson.
"Yes." I laughed.
"Well, Jack and I were wandering if you and Aurora wanted to hang out? Maybe go to get food, I'm not sure." He stuttered a few times.
"Uh, hold on." I pulled the phone away from my ear and whisper-shouted for Aurora.
"Yes?" She appeared in the bathroom doorway.
"Jack and Jack want to know if we want to hang out?"
A smiled creeped upon her face and she nodded.
I placed the phone back up to my ear.
"Jack?"
"Still here.". He laughed.
God, I love his laugh.
"Aurora said that was fine."
"And what about you? Don't you want to hang out too?" He seemed a little upset.
"Of course!" I giggled.
"Good. Should we come get you at your room?" He questioned.
"That's fine with me." I smiled, even though he couldn't see me.
"Okay, see you in fifteen."
"Bye." I placed the phone back and jumped around.
"Stop jumping! You're making the room shake!" Aurora yelled.
"Is that a fat joke?" I screamed with laughter.
"I'm not calling you skinny, am I?" She burst into laughter.
