Chase POV:
We were going to the hospital when Y/N started to cuddle to me, I start to rub her back in comfort so she can calm down, " Are you okay?" I whisper to Y/N. She responds with a "No" and honestly I wouldn't be either if I were her.
[arrived] 1:00 P.M.
Still Chase POV:
Y/N was saying her goodbyes to her parents while I was doing my best at comforting her when the line on the heart monitor went flat....
Y/N jumps to me sobbing loudly as I do my best to comfort her rubbing her back and patting it telling her it's okay because their in a better place, Lex hits a button on the wall to call a doctor or two while the business goes downhill.
Y/N POV:
After the escalation we all got milkshakes to try and change the sad mood, it was just me and chase in the car because I didn't want to go in. " Hey Chase?" I say with a sad scratchy voice along with a questioning yet comforting "yeah" ; Do you ever feel like somethings your fault when you know it's not? " I say. I don't get an answer to my question,
but a hug with a sweet reply; " Hey don't think like that none of this is you're fault, okay" I nod to what he said with a small smile.
