The murderer who saved me

Chapter 6

I wake up from my sleep, to my bedroom, then I see Jonathan. "please stop leaving me"he said. "i love you, Veronica I want to help you.

"you don't love me! You want revenge,I'm not your dead girlfriend!" I screamed.

After I said that, Their was total silence. I could see on his face he was in pain. I knew something bad was about to happen. I decided to take a run for it. Running past him, but he quickly grabbed me by the neck, pinning me against the wall. His eyes were tired and sad.

I could see the pain in his eyes.

"I'm sick and tired of waiting for you." He said. "What?" I asked, confused. "Veronica do you not understand what Daniel did?" Jonathan said. "No?" I said. "What did he do?"

Jonathan say there, staring down. "What did he do!" I said. " I don't know how to tell you this." Jonathan said. I looked at him confused. "Just tell me." I said.

"Are you actually gonna believe me?" He asks. I get suspicious. "Why?" I ask. "Well i want you to believe me." He said. "Fine, but how do I know I can trust you? I mean your a criminal, and you kidnapped me, and knocked out a old lady!" I say. "I mean I know I came off as a crazy guy, but I can promise you that you can trust me." He said. "Then free me." I said.

"No way! You'd tell them about me!" He shouted. "And what if I didn't?" I said, reassuring him I wouldn't. "How can I trust that!" He said. "And I can say the same thing to you. The only way to find out. Is to be patient and wait. So deal?" I said. "Fine. But you better not tell Anyone." He said. "Okay. Okay!" I said.

"Now tell me what Daniel did." I said. "Okay but heads up. Cause this is definitely a ride!" Jonathan said.

He started to talk. "Me and Daniel used to be good buddies, I did lots of sports while on the other hand, Daniel did absolutely nothing. He took all of his moms money, spent it on food, he sat in his room doing nothing, but playing games. One day I decided to check on him. I walked into his room, but nowhere was he to be seen! I decided to go home. Then I see him, and my dead girlfriends body. He murdered her. It turned out they were in a relationship for a few months. That's when I found out about you." He said. He started to cry. "I-I'm so sorry." I said. "What happened after?"

"When I saw how happy he was with you, I knew I needed you for something." He said. "For what?" I said. "Revenge." He said. "What do you mean by "revenge?" I said. "Did you really believe  Daniel was dead?" He said.  All of second, my heart stopped. "W-what?" I said. "I have something else to say." Jonathan started to say. "No, no I've heard enough!" I said. "Wait!" Jonathan said.

"Daniel! He's going to murder Elizabeth! She's next!" He said.
