Kyle's POV
We stepped out of the car and I grabbed the basket while Stan grabbed the blanket. "Now we just have to walk up that hill" I pointed "then we will have the best view of the entire town!"
Me and Stan hiked up the hill and when we got to the top we laid out the blanket and sat down. In a matter of minutes, the sun was setting. We began eating the lunch I had packed. "Wow. You were right about the view." He said. "Yeah it's pretty nice. No one to bother us. Just you and me." I said. "Just like old times." "Yeah." I replied.
Once the sun had set, I pointed up at the sky. "The stars. We're out of the city now so there aren't as many lights." Stan looked up amazed. He fell backwards as we laughed together. I fell back with him. "Oh by the way" I started. "Are you doing okay?" Stan turned over to look at me. "What do you mean?" He asked. "Well.. Like if you ever have anything you need to talk about or.. Even just if somethings bothering you, I'm always here to talk. And I will never judge you." Memories of that night passed through my head. Stan looked back up at the sky. "I know. It's just hard sometimes y'know?" "Yeah I know. I just don't want anything to happen to you." Stan looked at me and smiled. "I think I'm okay-ish now. Now that your back that is."
I'm back!! Honestly I just didn't feel like writing the last few days so yeah..
