Forever ensnared
Trapped in a world of Death, Disaster, and Despair
Held hostage in a life I was forced to live
Shackled down like a prisoner and caged as if I was a wild animal
Desperate to escape the invasive only darkness of Madness
On the verge of losing everything has drawn me to the brink of tears
Tired of senseless fighting, about to give in
Sensing Darkness approach I rattle my chains choosing to fight
The smell of Death masked Darkness's
revolting breath
Death breathed over me as if it was a caressing touch of a blanket
Numb to the touch suddenly drifting farther and farther away
Epiphany reached Destiny revealed
As Darkness towered higher and higher above head Death's song vanished
Truly awoken plunging forth fighting and fighting
Infilled with sweet pleasure as my purpose unmasked itself
Banishing Darkness, facing it head on was what I was born to do
Chains broken freedom finally within grasp
Running forward never stopping till Destiny was reached
Clinging and embracing I stood strong
Though my body remained bloody and bludgeoned I remained standing tall
Haunting memories never truly forgotten
Lost hope never realized
Sturdy and I breakable until the final day
The battle won
Mission completed
It was time to rest, live among others no longer
Then only then I allowed myself to fall
Others mourned my loss, I did not
Falling forever I lay at peace
There was no need to cry 'twas only my choice
Falling allowed peace so long craved
Burden lifted life fulfilled
Death granted what Life could not
Released and forever free
Peace removed Chaos and Light replaced Darkness
What lay was once a mortal shell withholding something much greater
Something cloaked until Death
What awaits me now?
No mortal shall ever know
