Ride- Lana Del Rey

"i got a war in my mind"

_

I sat up, looking around a room that was not mine. I stood up, my head pounding from the events of the night before. I walked into the kitchen of the Salvatore house, sitting down as Damon greeted me while he cooked. He smiled at me before sliding some vamp-cakes over to me, sitting down.

"How are you feeling?" He asked, and I rolled my eyes.

"I'm fine Damon, I would've preferred to not be stabbed last night, but I'm fine." I told him truthfully, following with a yawn from myself.

"When did you last have some magic witchy-juice?" He asked, earning a chuckle from me. I shrugged in response.

"I would offer, maybe if it hurt a little less." He responded.

"Yeah, I'm still figuring that out" I told him, sighing. Being a siphoner was great and all, but it does have its disadvantages. Any witch I meet hates me, and for some reason, every time I siphon from someone, it hurts like hell, for me and them.

"I don't think siphoning from anyone is a good idea after last night, my body needs some reset time." I told him and he nodded.

"Well Eve, I think your witchy-ness could really help us out" He told me and I groaned at his statement.

"Bonnie may be up for being your personal witch, but I'm not. I've seen what happened, Bonnie lost her grams and every ounce of happiness she gets. I will not lose my dad. And I will not lose my life." I replied.

"I wont let you die Eve. Ever." He responded.

"That's not what I mean. I have hopes and dreams Damon, a future I'm looking forward to. The last thing I want is to be a vampire. Me and you both know I'd never go through with it if it were to ever happen." I told him, and he sighed.

"Eve, being involved with the supernatural is dangerous. We all have the risk of dying, and every non-vampire involved has a chance of becoming a vampire, your stubbornness with be the thing that kills you, and you know I wouldn't just let you die because you don't wanna be a vampire." I groaned.

"It'd be my choice. Not yours." I replied.

He nodded sarcastically, "It'd be your choice if you made the right one." He told me.

"It isn't even happening so lets not argue about it." I said, getting up.

"Now, I have to go and see everyone else, I've missed them." I told him, walking towards the door.
