no doubt is it incredibly wrong but it just feels so right.

as lee y/n, i was aware that cheating is the worst thing someone could do to their partner; i knew that. i'm currently in a 2-year long relationship with my boyfriend jingxiang.

he was a good partner, i couldn't ask for any more in a guy. he was everything i ever wanted in a man; looks, height, personality, attitude, and riches; you name it. he loved me a lot too, i had nothing to complain about... or so i convinced myself to believe?

the relationship has to revolve around trust due to our work environment. collaborating with other models in shoots meant that they weren't to be looked at as something to be suspicious about. jingxiang and myself were both models, who met at a photoshoot and the relationship then bloomed from then on.

recently i was starting to suspect him of cheating on me with my cousin, yeonha, who was a runway model. i also receive insight from jingxiang's manager whenever he apparently comes to meet her.

my brother's been warning me about this recently too.

i was obviously unfazed and wasn't miserable. my relationship with jingxiang wasnt formed by being in love with each other, it was more like a relationship formed by loving the attention from the other person.

...but, as in-demand top fashion models, photoshoots with other models were of course inevitable and we both mutually accepted that. after all, it's all just for work, wasn't it?

my relationship situation was like that, until today, when a newer model — whom i have not worked with at all, even for just once — was casted to be in a magazine cover photoshoot with me. he and jingxiang knew each other well, but on the other hand, as for me, it was my first time meeting someone like him.

he was part of the minority of male models who could compete with my boyfriend's physique and visuals. he could even top the beauty standards. his name was kim gyuvin.

i couldn't help but adore him, he was so beautifully made. "nice to meet you. my name is kim gyuvin, I'll be working with you today.", he respectfully introduces himself to me.

"great to meet you too. I'm looking forward to working with you.", i politely respond; still keeping things professional. the shoot would begin a short while after. 

"i heard you and my friend jingxiang are seeing each other.", he starts a conversation. 'does he really need to be asking this?', i thought to myself. "oh yeah, i met him at a magazine cover shoot with a luxury brand just more or less than two years ago.", i reply nonchalantly.

"that's too bad if i was the one who had gotten that photoshoot at that time, i could've been him. you're very pretty by the way.", gyuvin murmurs while avoiding eye contact. the producer calls the two of us to stand-by for the shoot, "lee y/n, kim gyuvin let's begin the shoot now. please kindly guide gyuvin if he ever has any questions y/n, it's his debut shoot."

the shoot has a theme of modern sophistication and elegance in youth romance. it was set in the style of old money vs new money. gyuvin, an elegant grandson of an incredibly wealthy businessman; myself, a spoiled daughter of a set of wealthy parents.
