Noel didn't want to die. Been there, done that. It wasn't that Noel wanted to stop existing… he just wanted to be someone else. Someone better.
He'd relayed this to Ricky, who was sat beside him on his bed, listening closely. Usually, they'd talk about Monique and the Bachelor Man like they were fictional characters, but today was different.
They still chatted as usual, but…
"And she'd be so fabulous and beautiful, unlike…"
Noel trailed off and Ricky frowned, before typing something on his AAC.
"I just wanted to let you know that I think you're beautiful."
Noel hugged him.
