Rewrite of the first chapter. And yes, my writing skills are still just as bad but hopefully this will lead smoother into the actual story and I decided to keep the whole backstory and emotional part for later

POV: DustDust
Do you ever wonder if you did the right thing?
That what you did, was the only choice that mattered?
I wish I could tell myself it was just, without guilt weighing me down.
But now, all that matters... Is killing that damn "human".
Here I was, standing in the middle of a desolate wasteland. It would surprise anybody if they learned this place was once a beautiful city, a hub habitable for all that was welcomed. Grand buildings of various colors, inhabitants from thousands, if not millions of universes. It was different from the old Doodlesphere, the gods that once fought for dominance learned to cooperate and let bygones be bygones for the good of the multiverse, resulting in the Doodlesphere being merged with Core Frisk's Omega Timeline to create a gigantic metropolis. Of course, the idea of housing an entire Mutiverse's worth of organism in a city was impractical, only some universe residents ended up living in the city while the rest stayed in their original world. Those who lived here mainly stayed to interact and maintain relations with other AUs. It went really well, even despicable people like me were rehabilitated and accepted as citizens, I wish it could last forever. But it didn't, a good ending doesn't exist, I should've known.
One day, the scientists and technicians detected something on outskirts of the Doodlesphere, universes disappearing, being erased. It wasn't strange to see timelines of a universe be erased, things like that happen all the time, though such things do not apply to AUs housed in the city of course. However, universes being erased was an entirely different matter, only Error could do such a thing... Or so we naively thought. After a brief scuffle between the gods, we found out that the fault was due to a human, causing destruction across the multiverse. For what, you ask? Hell if I know, but it didn't matter. Error played it off, he recklessly went after the human and complained that we were just whining about nothing. He never came back.
Everybody was panicking, we quickly assembled a squad of the strongest monsters to take care of the human before they grew stronger. It didn't work, the human was unbelievably strong. I knew, we couldn't win, the battle was quickly going in human's favor so I had to make a decision, one I promised to never do again.
Kill all of my friends.
It wasn't an impulsive move, believe me, I really wish they was another option. However, everybody was on their last legs, even Dream and Nightmare, the human somehow dealt unrepairable damage to them despite their innate immortality. I knew I had to step in, the human was going to kill us all so I stole their kill, and quickly impaled or blasted my friends. Thousands of powerful monsters alongside a few gods massively propelled my LOVE beyond normal limits, I tried to fight the human but they ran away. I was still getting used to my new powers so I lost track of them. I couldn't let them gain more power than me, else my decision would've been for nothing. I had to kill more, I had to outcompete them and obtain more EXP.
I had to do it. It was the right choice, the only choice, there was nothing else that we could've done. Thankfully, I had long become desensitized to the act of killing the innocent. Eventually, I became powerful enough to wipe the city in a matter of days. I felt more powerful than ever, but I could faintly feel the human's presence from millions of universes away I had to continue.
