Throughout History, there have been countless empires and societies. There have been so many that you cannot name a single period in time where there have been none, no matter how small the empire may have been.

Everyone can name at least one empire, even if they despise History. Everyone knows about the Ancient Greeks, Romans, Egyptians and Aztecs, but do you know the Origins?

The Origins were a race of creatures different from the rest. Their society was around from the year 100 B.C to the late 1980s, making them one of the longest races, other than the human race, to ever have existed. These creatures lived on multiple islands, the most well-known one being Malhye.

Malhye was beautiful place. The land was covered in vast tropical forests, sandy beaches and colourful flower fields. Many different species of reptiles, mammals and fish called the small island their home.

The weather in Malhye was magnificent. Sunshine constantly rained down on the island and its inhabitants. The summers were idyllic and balmy while the winters were mild enough to wear a jumper instead of a t-shirt.

Since Malhye was on an island, not many other creatures or humans bothered the origins living there, making it a peaceful place to live.

The origins lived completely off of the land. They lived off of the crops and animal meat from the local farms. They built their houses and businesses from sustainable sources such as wood, brick, bamboo and stone. They weren't as advanced in the building department as other empires would have been.

Nearly all of the Origins were amiable, courageous, courteous and overall pleasant to be around. Sure there were some arrogant and bumptious characters living on the island but there's always some of those in every society.

Due to the destruction of Malhye, there isn't much information on the empire. Many Historians have been fascinated with Malhye over the years and have devoted their lives to trying to discover the reason for the societies' demise. All of them came up empty handed.

That was until 2005. There was a massive breakthrough in the case when diary written by a teenage boy was discovered in an Archaeological dig. The diary was full of information about Malhye and what it was like to live there during the time of the Malum attack that led to the downfall of a great nation.

The teen's name was Owen. He was a phantom with short curly blond hair and two different coloured eyes, one was crystal blue, the other was hazel. He had the ability to phase through solid mass and turn invisible, he used this ability to frighten the shit out of his friends by sneaking up behind them.

The boy lived in a house he built into a cave, with the help of an Elytrian named John, or JJ as Owen liked to call him.

JJ had taken Owen in when the Phantom was but a Phaslot, a baby Phantom, and raised him as his own alongside his own son, another Elytrian named Desmond.

He had sun-kissed skin from working endless labourful hours on his farm, kind soil brown eyes, wild brown hair that stopped above his shoulders in most parts, a matching thick brown beard and freckles around his eyes and nose bridge. Wide black feathered wings grew from his back, with matching black feathers growing on the tips of his ears.

You could always go to JJ if you had any problems, he was very great at listening and gave out brilliant advice to anyone who asked for it. The Elytrian was charismatic and very popular in the village. He knew just about everyone living there. He was well-known and liked in Malhye, nobody has a bad word to say about him.
