Ty begins his journey back to the Heartland ranch.
11 and a half hours later**
Amy is standing outside the barn at the ranch brushing Spartan when Ty pulls up.
When Ty gets out of the truck he notices that Amy has a worried look on her face.
" Wh-what's wrong?" -Ty asked
" Elliana called." -Amy said
" Sh-she did? What did she say?" -Ty asked out of curiosity.
" It's hard to tell. She was crying and the phone connection was weak. But I heard a lot of yelling." -Amy answered.
" Damn it." -Ty whispered underneath his voice.
" What?" -Amy asked.
" Somethings have been going down at her house, like she has been in an abusive household. I am just worried." -Ty said looking anywhere but Amy's eyes.
" So what did you find out at your moms?" -Amy asked
" A lot of things. So Elliana is my sister, half sister. Brads daughter. She lives in North Carolina I know the specific spot. Oh and Wade and my mom are back together." -Ty explained.
" Wait your mom and Wade got back together? How is this time going to be any different than the other times?" -Amy asked
" I'm not sure Amy. But when I asked my mom that same question she honestly had that look in her eyes that he really loved her and he hasn't hurt her. My mom means a lot to me, but I have bigger things to deal with right now, and I believe my mom, when she says that Wade actually loves her." -Ty explained.
The phone starts to ring from the barn office . . .
Ty walks into the barn and goes to the office to answer the phone.
" Hello?" -Ty asked
North Carolina . . .
" Ty, it's me Elliana." - She said
" Elliana, is everything ok?" - Ty asked
" No, everything is bad. I need you to come save me, get me out of this place." - She expressed to Ty.
" What happened? Are you ok?" -Ty asked his little sister.
" No I'm not ok. Please, please, please come and get me!" -Elliana yelled into the phone.
" Ok ok ok. It will take me a little bit to get to you. You live in a different country than I do. But I promise I will come and save you. But do you know your address?" - Ty asked Elliana.
" Uhh I think it's 21093 Briar Ridge Rd Wilmington North Carolina. Please hurry!" -Elliana yelled into the phone. Then there was intense yelling in the background then the phone line cut out.
" Elliana?" -Ty called out into the phone.
Back to Heartland Ranch in Canada . . .
Ty took the phone away from his ear and just looked at it.
" Ty is everything ok?" -Amy asked her boyfriend.
" Uh no. That was just Elliana. She's in trouble." -Ty replied.
" What do you mean 'she's in trouble' ?" -Amy asked
" Well, when she called me she told me I needed to come and save her and she gave me her address, so I'm leaving." -Ty explained.
" What do you mean you're leaving?" -Amy asked.
" I mean I'm going to North Carolina and bringing Elliana back here, if that is the last thing I do." -Ty explained standing up from the work desk.
" Ty, maybe you shouldn't how do you even know that she is who she says she is?" -Amy asked.
" Look Amy." -Ty said putting his hands on Amy's shoulder.
" I trust her" -Ty said.
" Ok." -Amy said quietly.
" You should talk to grandpa first before you bring her here." -Amy suggested.
" Ok, I will. Is he home? I need to leave as soon as I can." -Ty
" Yeah, I think he's in the kitchen with Lisa." -Amy
" Ok." -Ty said then walked off.
In the ranch house . . .
Jack and Lisa are sitting at the table drinking coffee when Ty enters the kitchen.
" Hey Jack?" -Ty called out
" Yeah? In here Ty!" -Jack said from the table.
Ty walked into the kitchen.
" I have a favor to ask." -Ty
" Ok?" -Jack
" I found out that I have a little sister in North Carolina, and I am wondering if I could bring her here for a little while. She's in danger." - Ty explained.
" You have a little sister?" -Jack asked in shock.
" Yeah, it's Brads daughter." -Ty
" And when you say she's in danger what do you mean?" -Jack asked.
" I mean she is being abused." -Ty explained
" Abused? Ty with taking her in you know that's going to come with a lot of responsibilities." -Jack explained.
" I know the responsibilities Jack. Please just let me help my little sister." -Ty asked
" Ok, ok. She can stay with us. But you are responsible for her, she will stay with you in the loft." -Jack
" Ok. Thank you Jack." -Ty said rushing out the door.
In the barn . . .
Ty rushed into the barn to see Amy brushing Spartan.
" Amy, Jack said Elliana can come." -Ty said excited.
" I'm leaving tonight." -Ty
