Riley started walking to Garp's office, on her way she ran into Ace.
"What are you doing out here?" Riley asked as she looked at the freckled man.
"I kinda fell asleep in class and the teacher got man."
"Which Teacher??"
"Hina."
Riley flinched,"Ohhhh she's tough."
Ace grumbled," No kidding."
The work was slow, both enjoyed talking to each other, yes they had been neighbors with each other and Ace and his brothers go way back with her, yet at the same time there was this special air like one would get being around their lover.
"So I was wondering if.." His sentence stopped as he gazed into Riley's light green eyes to him the reminded him of Peridot. The light green gem that looked so pale and yet stood out so brightly.
"Wondering.... what?" Riley asked as she looked at Ace, waiting for him to continue with his train of thought.
Ace wanted to kiss this pink--

"Oh right, the school carnival is coming up," he started off and looked to the side blushing," I was wondering if you would like to
Go with me."
Now it was Riley's turn to blush, but she quickly nodded her head. "Ye-Yeah sound awesome--- I mean great-- I mean--- Sigh," she took a deep breath and smiled," I would love to go with you Portgas D.Ace."
Ace grinned.
"Pick you up around 7 o'clock!" Ace said as he went just as the bell rang.
"SEE YOU AT LUNCH!" Riley shouted over the crowd of kids. Some gave her weird looks but she didn't care. She HAD to tell Robin, Nami, Vivi and Izumia.
