THIRD PERSON'S POV
Natasha sat at the long dining table in the compound, surrounded by her friends. She watched with a smile as Y/N happily munched on her sandwich, her small fingers occasionally reaching out to snatch a carrot from her plate. As Y/N scanned the room, her eyes suddenly widened in delight as she noticed Wanda's perfectly painted nails, a vibrant shade of crimson.
She turned to Wanda, asking. "Auntie Wanda, your nails look so pretty! How did you make them like that?"
Wanda chuckled and extended her hand, showing off her nails to Y/N. "Thank you, sweetheart! I painted them with nail polish. It's a fun way to add some color. Would you like to try it sometime?"
Y/N's face lit up with excitement. "Really? Can I paint my nails too?"
Natasha smiled at the interaction. "Y/N, we can definitely paint our nails together later. Let's finish our lunch first, okay?"
Y/N beamed and nodded eagerly, her attention returning to her food.
As the meal came to an end, Natasha got up from the table, her plate in hand. The rest followed suit, offering to help with the cleanup. Natasha smiled gratefully and began washing the dirty dishes.
Y/N, however, couldn't contain her excitement. She dashed across the room and crashed into Natasha's legs, causing her to stumble slightly.
Natasha gasped as the plates almost slipped out of her hands, then she looked down at her daughter. "Y/N, be careful. You almost made me drop the dishes."
But Y/N paid no heed to Natasha's words as she squealed and rambled on about Wanda's nails, barely taking a breath between her words. "Mama, did you see? Wanda's nails were so shiny! Can I paint your nails? Pretty please?"
Natasha chuckled softly, finding it difficult to scold her daughter when she was so full of joy. She knelt down to Y/N's eye level and gently cupped her face. "All right, sweetheart. You can paint my nails, let me just finish up here, okay?"
Y/N's eyes lit up, a wide smile stretching across her face. "Yay! Thank you, Mama!"
Natasha kissed Y/N's forehead and resumed her task of washing the dishes, glancing over at her daughter every now and then.
Y/N couldn't contain her excitement as she eagerly explored the kitchen, occasionally calling out to her mother, asking if it was time yet.
Yelena, who was drying the dishes next to Natasha, raised an eyebrow and smirked playfully. "What's up with Y/N? She seems like she's about to burst."
Natasha chuckled and shook her head. "She just discovered what nail polish is and now she wants to paint my nails."
Yelena let out a soft chuckle. "Just wait until she finds out what makeup is. Good luck with that."
Natasha rolled her eyes playfully, a fond smile tugging at her lips. "I know, I know. I'll cross that bridge when we come to it."
As she finished up the last of the dishes, Y/N's impatience reached its peak.
She let out a dramatic sigh and called out to her mother once more. "Mama, come on! Hurry up!"
Natasha turned to Y/N with an amused expression. "All right, let's go."
Y/N's face lit up with a radiant smile as she grabbed Natasha's hand and practically skipped alongside her as they made their way to Natasha's room.
Once inside, Y/N's eyes widened at the sight of the array of colorful nail polishes spread out on the dresser. She couldn't contain her excitement and hopped from foot to foot. "Can I pick the color? Please, please?"
