"Come on, you're just making noise!"

I don't know what came over me the other day, telling Luka about my past when I strictly told myself I would never speak about it again to anyone. I let out a sigh as I opened my locker. My depression was interrupted when a note fell out of my locker and to my feet. I opened it and was surprised at what I read.

"Yvonne,

Don't you notice how I get quiet when there's no one else around? Me and you in awkward silence.
Oh, how I wish you'll wake up one day, run to me, and confess your love-
Please let me say that when I talk to you, cupid walks through me then shoots an arrow through my heart.
I might sound kind of strange saying this, but I just wonder if you feel it, too?
I confess: I've loved you from the start.

-Blue."

I felt my face heat up as I stuffed the note in my bag. Who wrote this, and why to me? I've only been in Paris for a few days, no one really knows me, besides....
"Luka."

I smiled a bit at the realization, but it quickly disappeared. No way he actually wrote that, right? Maybe it's a prank. But he's too nice for a prank like this. Am I going insane? Possibly. That's okay, I think.

I thought about this through every class until lunch. I have to talk to him, right? No, I can't. But I have to?? Nope. Maybe later.
I sat down with Marinette, Alya, Adrien, Nino and Alix, and I'm sure they all notice my distress.

"Are you okay, Yvonne?" Adrien asks, grabbing my attention for a moment. I brushed him off and gave a quick answer.
"Yes, I'm fine. Just a bit distracted, that's all."
This clearly put an idea in his head.

"Random question, do you like swordfighting?"
"What... the hell kinda question is that?" I said, then gave a sly smile. "Of course I like swordfighting! I own a sword of my own, you know~!" I giggled, and he chuckled along with me.
"I've got fencing practice after school today and there's an open spot if you wanna join me."

I definitely had to think about this. Of course, I was invited to hang out with Luka after school and there's no way I forgot about it, especially after recieving that note in my locker. I nodded my head and pulled out my phone to text him.

'Hey Luka. Sorry, but I might not be able to hang out today. Adrien invited me to join him in his fencing practice and I decided I would tag along.'

'...'
'...'
'yeah, that's cool. do you think you can hang out tomorrow?'

I thought for a moment. Would I be free tomorrow? I think so. I quickly texted him back with a 'yes of course' and put my phone away, then looked up at Adrien.
"Sorry 'bout that. Yeah, I'll join you for fencing practice!" I said with a smile.
"Cool! I'll meet you in the courtyard then."
"Yep." I nodded. "Seeya then!"

[end of day, fencing practice]

This day went by far too slowly. Miss Bustier assigned a big assignment that I'm definitely not gonna do or get done before the week's out. Instead, I might indulge my time in teaching Luka a few things about the way of a sword... yes, I might...

I was soon snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Adrien coming down the stairs behind me. "Hey, Yvonne!" he said as I turned to face him.
"Hello, Adrien," I said quietly with a slight head bow. "Is Mr. D'Argencourt around yet?"

Before he could answer, there was a booming voice at the school's entrance. "I am right here!" Mr. D'Argencourt said, making his way towards me and Adrien.
"Adrien! Who is this friend of yours? Has she come for the open position in our fencing program?" he asked, and I answered quickly before Adrien could.
