NEVER TO EARLY FOR CHRISTMAS. I actually love Christmas, all the snow and the happiness. the gifts and the chicken.. and the food.. and the gifts.. and the gifts.

anyways, this is an old chapter from a one shot book from 2022 and i rewrote it so don't judge if it's bad. and the gifts..

You and lizzie are having your 1st Christmas together, you were having it alone and you wouldn't have it any other way. You and lizzie had been together for 5 months and it's been a dream come true, she was the light in a dark tunnel.

She told you she would get a tree and you told her that you needed 3 but she said no, you was kinda annoyed but you do get her point. 3 would be to much, but you needed one for each important room. you were spending Christmas in America since you flew out for lizzie.

she was coming home later then usual since she was walking around the town for a while to see all the houses and all the stores lit up with lights. she opened the front door to be met with a tree. "Jesus Y/n." She mumbled, she walked further in and saw another one, "Y/N?" she called out but got no response. She walked into the living room and saw a massive tree with a note on it.

She picked up the note,

'we can decorate it later. I'm out right now. also, There is some Christmas cookies in the oven for you. <3

She giggled at the last part, she walked into the kitchen and got the cookies out the oven. there were all different ones but her favourite was the Grinch one. She heard the door open and close and you ran in to find her eating a cookie, "Hey.. did you like my note?" You teased before kissing her, your hands were cold which made her shiver.

"Your hands are so cold." She took your hands in hers and kissed them, "Not cold anymore." She whispers. You gave her another kiss and she smiled against your lips. "I love you."

"I love you more."

"THE TREE." She yelled as she ran towards it. You had already got the decorations out for it, there was a massive box next to it with all different decorations. "We can do it now." You tell her, she smiled and you put a hoodie on to warm yourself up.

you decorated the tree together and lizzie bossed you around but you didn't listen half the time. It got to the star and lizzie couldn't reach the top, The tree was around 7ft. lizzie felt her feet lift off the ground and let out a squeal. she looked down and saw you lifting her on you shoulders. You giggled, "Not the first time I've been between your legs." you teased, she playfully kicked your rib and you faked being hurt which she rolled her eyes at. you left a soft kiss her thigh as an apology.

you supported lizzie by having your hands on her thighs. she reached up by she still wasn't tall enough. You laughed and almost tripped, "Shit.. ok ok I'll focus." you went on you tip toes and then lizzie got it on.

"YES." she seemed so excited about a star which made you smile.

you kept her on your shoulders. "Did you like my cookies?" you asked.

"Yeah, the Grinch one is my fav." She tells you, "I made that one for myself." Lizzie smiled knowing she was gonna eat it later.

You tapped her thighs before talking, "Right so, We can either stay down here and I'll order your favourite and we can cuddle under a blanket and watch movies all night. OR We can take a long walk and look at peoples Christmas lights." You told her, She thought about it for about 2 seconds before speaking.

"Can we do both? We can go for a walk then we can cuddled." she asked, she wore a massive smile because you agreed. you put her down and you got ready to go back outside for a walk, lizzie decided to wear crocs which you two laughed about.

You stood by the door and held her hand as you walked out the front door, as soon as you walked out you saw your light up Santa you had. "It's cute." Lizzie giggled, she tapped it with her food when she walked past it.

you two went for a long walk, it was around 10pm now and you left at 9. you stopped because you saw it start to snow, you stuck her tongue out and lizzie looked at you like you was an idiot. She laughed about it before doing the same. You were both stopped in the middle of the street under a street light with your mouths open tryna catch snow, you were both idiots.

you looked at her and you put her hood up since it fell down, her hair was covered in snow and it was cute but you needed her to be warm, "Stay warm." you remind her before cupping her cheeks and kissing her forehead. your touch was warm on her skin. she took your hands and she puts them back on her face when you moved them away.

"Your hands are warm." she whispers. you kissed her nose which causes lizzie to smile like an idiot. "little walk then home?" You nodded and held her hand again and started walking again.

you two walked for another hour around town and then started to head back to the house. when you got in lizzie decided to wear matching PJ's. lizzie was wearing green and red plaid shorts with one of your hoodies, you wore the same just your shorts were longer and you was in a sports bra.

lizzie grabbed her hoodie, Well yours but it was hers. she cuddled up to it while walking into the living room. You saw her waddling with your hoodie in her arms, "Baby." You giggled, "Your so cute." You was dying of laughter while she just stood there and looked innocent.

"I was keeping it warm.." She says in a quiet voice, You had now finished your fit of laughter and lizzie looked around. you had sorted it all out. you had blankets out and pillows for you two. you even had hot coco for both of you. "I love you so much." she whispers. you smiled and sat down, she jumped ontop of you and sat on your lap.

you watch 10 minutes of the film before she looks at you, "120, 119, 118.. 106..... 94" She started counting which made you smile. you kissed her cheek. "85, 84." you grab her face and she looked at you. "Hi baby." she smiles at you.

you smiled back and kissed her, "Hi princess." you whispered and kisses her nose, lizzie had always loved when you left kisses on her nose.

She rests her head on your chest, "16, 15, 14.." you just listened to her counting. "3, 2, 1" The clock now says 00:00.

"Merry Christmas little one." you say and you kissed her, "Merry Christmas bum." you spent the rest of Christmas in eachothers arms and watching movies.
