"Rastamouse," based on a series of children books featuring the titular character, features a premise that's not common in British programmes. It's about a reggae band made up of crime-fighting, mystery-solving mice. The trio, led by Rastamouse, is often called upon by President Wensley Dale to catch criminals and make life better for the residents of Mouseland. Not surprisingly, given the band concept, music plays a central role in many episodes.
