So, here's the thing..
Writers find it hard to write when their mind just goes blank for no apparent reason, or maybe because of overthinking too much— I don't know, I'm currently suffering writer's block so how am I suppose to figure things out?! Argh!
This days, I've been keeping myself busy reading novels and watching movies— hoping to get an idea, but of course, things just won't go the way we hope, right?
What do I do?
Why is life so damn hard ba? Want ko lang naman mabuhay ng payapa tapos bibigyan pa ako ng madaming iisipin. Yung totoo, what if ma-reincarnate nalang ako as utak tutal overthinker naman ako?
That one was totally not connected for our today's topic, but whatever. Hmp!
Anyway, the one I'm currently reading is a comic where the main character is also suffering from writer's block, but the difference we have is soooooo big! Things are going well for him thanks to his boyfriend where he gets his inspiration from!
And what about me? Just sitting here, staring at the ceiling, pondering about random things, and whine all day!
Should I just get myself a partner? How do people get themselves a loving partner, while I'm still single and all?
Ugh! Life is unfair!
I don't know what to worry first. Me not having a lover or my unfinished novel?
No, wait, seriously, why am I worrying about not getting myself a partner? I NEED TO FINISH ATLEAST ONE NOVEL THIS YEAR! I don't have time for other people! Argh!
— BUT GUESS WHAT? Fate loves making fun of me, alright? Why? IT'S BECAUSE I'M SEEING COUPLES EVERYWHERE! And even all of my friends are damn taken! Come on, where's the justice in that?
"Stop wailing. Finding a partner is hard."
Says someone who's got herself a girlfriend. Yeah, right!
"Should I just try dating app, then? Hehe," I said out of nowhere.
"Pwede! Hahaha!" Karisa answered while laughing.
"Hmm. Try," Mene said and shrug.
I rolled my eyes at them and sigh. Feeling frustrated, I gave them a 'boo'.
"Argh! Why worry about finding a partner anyway?!" I said, whining.
"Well, you keep yapping about it.."
I smile inwardly at them at umiwas ng tingin.
"I'm naiinggit lang eh," I answered while pouting. "Wait, what if hanapan niyo nalang ako? Hehe," saad ko maya-maya lang.
"3rd year in Civil Engineering," mabilis na sagot ni Karisa na ikinataas ng kilay ko.
"Let me see, let me see!" I said, feeling excited. She started scrolling through her facebook and keeps tapping whatever it is that she's looking for before giving me her phone.
"Here. That's him,"
I started sliding left and right and nodded. "Well.. he looks fine," sagot ko at binalik sa kanya ang phone.
"She means it's a no. Our friend here is too high maintenance," I smiled at what Mene said and did not even try to argue. I mean, what's there to argue about? She speaks facts! LOL.
"That's true. It'll take years before she even finds herself a partner," Karisa agreed na sinimangutan ko nalang.
"No, seriously, I should worry more about my novel first!" I whined while softly slapping both my cheeks.
