[Fanart for Goten by me]
As Vegeta lunges at Goten, the young saiyan dodges and just barely avoids a punch that was strong enough to crumble the boulder behind him. Goten gets some distance between him and Vegeta. "YOU KILLED MY FATHER?! WHAT?!? Why-- Why would you do something like that!" Goten yells with frustration. "Pride and honor boy! Your father, Kakarot, he's cut down my pride for years, inch by inch, and now by MY hands,----- I've cut him down!" Vegeta lunges at Goten and clashes with him throwing punch after punch, Goten let's out a scream and an energy wave to push Vegeta away. The energy wave gives Goten a moment to back away and transform to super saiyan 2.
Goten: Pride? Is that all it was?!?! PRIDE was the reason you killed him? YOU IDIOT!!
*Goten takes a breath and calms down before questioning Vegeta again*
Goten: Explain your power, this sinister feeling isn't normal, not even for the most evil of people! Where did you get this energy!
*Vegeta grins and then scowls at Goten*
Vegeta: This is the work of some little wizard, don't be mistaken, the power is my own however, the Baba-whatever allowed me to unlock the anger in my heart. Yes, I allowed the influence of another to free me from my cage. No more regret, no more holding back, no more care, all I want now is death and I've unlocked the power to grant it to anyone!!!
*Goten looked as confused as ever, while still processing his father's so-claimed death*
Goten: Wizards? Cages? What's going on here Vegeta! I don't understand!
*Suddenly, King Kai's voice chimes in*
King Kai: Goten, I'm afraid what he said was true. Vegeta and Goku had an intense fight earlier and Vegeta sneak attacked Goku, leading him to fall into the sea, Gohan's attempting to find him as we speak but I can't say if he's alive or dead. Regardless Goten, he allowed this mystical wizard named Babadi to consume his heart and unlock the evil within. I'm afraid what you're seeing is Vegeta's nature back when your brother was a child, it might be even worse! Goten, you've got to beat him, there's no saying what he'll do now that he's out of control!
*Goten couldn't believe what he was hearing, it sounded like a fairy tale. Wizards? What's even going on anymore. One thing was for certain, if what Vegeta said was true, he must be stopped right here*
*Goten took a deep breath*
Goten: If what you're saying is true, then I can't allow you to go beyond this fight. If my father is really dead, then I'll have to make you pay VEGETA!
*Goten charges up and rushes Vegeta, he's displaying greater power than he did when fighting Trunks*
*The two collide and begin to fight, Vegeta manages to get the upper hand and knocks Goten down.*
Vegeta: BIG BANG ATTACK!!
*Goten picks himself off the ground and knocks the ki blast away. He then rushes straight into Vegeta with a punch, however, despite connecting the fist to Vegeta's face, the Prince remains unfazed*
Vegeta: *laughing* Your father tried the same thing, he really thought he had me too. When his body was floating in the ocean I felt it right here *Vegeta was grabbing his chest* my honor being redeemed. No more was I out classed by Kakarot!
*Vegeta punches Goten in the gut and slams him back to the ground, Vegeta watches from the air as Goten lays in the rubble*
*Goten gets back up and begins to power up, this time he achieves his full SSJ2 power, Vegeta notices this*
