Four Quarters: A Bleach Fanfic.

The White Rabbit.

I woke up one day, in a glass tube filled with this... green slime. I couldn't breathe, but it seemed the liquid delivered oxygen into my body. It had a slimy, almost jello-like consistency. It stung like hell to the touch.

I had to get out as soon as possible, but I knew it would attract attention if I broke the glass. 

I broke through it with a simple punch.

As soon as I landed outside the tube, I saw that there were a few tubes next to me, only one was lit up though, the one next to me.

I took a look around, it was a complex lab that I can't begin to describe.

There was a chalkboard that had the number 13 on it.

I walked up to the only lit-up tube, it was a young girl, definitely younger than me, but not that much younger. How old was I, even?

I read a screen next to it.

CODENAME: U.U.I.I.Sb.
Vitals: Stable.
Time until completion: Four days.
Brain functionality: 97%.
Body functionality: 100%.
Soul stability: 99.999%.
Age: 16 years.

I walked a foot to my left and checked the screen that was on my tube.

CODENAME: U.U.I.I.Sa.
Virals: Error.
Time until completion: Complete.
Brain functionality: 100%.
Body functionality: 100%.
Soul stability: 100%.

Age: 16 years.

???: Uncomplete, huh?

I looked back at the girl.

???: Whatever this place is, I don't like it here.

Before long, Kaguya entered the room.

Kaguya: Ah, my son. You're awake.

Kaguya had black hair tied back in a bun, he wore a white coat at all times. His skin was pale white, he always looked like he was wearing makeup.

???: Okay, where am I, who am I, who are you, who is that, and can I have some clothes?

Kaguya opened a drawer and pulled out a plain black tunic.

I put it on, it was a neat fit.

Kaguya: To answer your questions, you are home. You're my son, Tobi. I'm your father, and that's your sister, Kris.

Tobi: Okay, okay, okay. This is a lot to process.

Kaguya: I would think so. I mean, you were born within the last hour.

Tobi: I'd say, maybe three minutes ago?

Kaguya: Oooh, with a functioning concept of time! I have really outdone myself this time.

Tobi: So, what's my purpose?

Kaguya: What do you mean?

Tobi: Why do I exist?

Kaguya: Oh. Well... Don't worry about that. After your sister wakes up, I'll give you two an objective. Until then, just, go live.

Tobi: Alright, but, she's really close to completion.

Kaguya: Even every fraction of a percent is important in development.

Tobi: What am I?

Kaguya: You, are a Shinigami, and a Hollow. A Quincy, and a Fullbringer.

Tobi: I shouldn't exist.

Kaguya: Yet, you do. You are a marvel of technology. Even Aizen didn't think of this combination.

Tobi: Aizen?

Kaguya: Don't worry about it.

Kaguya walked me outside and set me free.
