we reach the restaurant called komodo, its my first time being here and it's beautiful. i seen it on everybody's instagrams story but though it's couldnt be that good, the restaurant was a vibe the lighting, music, etc just perfect.

we walk in a head to our table, we walk past this table of about 8 men at one table, i didnt take much notice but where we were sitting i could see them.

"lauren!"

"hi, imani!" she says

we hug and sit down, as we sit down alexis looks at me.

"one of them man was preeing you hard imani" she says

"yeah, i could see it from over here" lauren says

i just sigh and shake my head

"you know who it was?" i ask

"sanch" lauren answers

"who"

"jadon sancho" alexis corrects her

"oh no"

we laugh, and wait for a waiter to come.

"your lying" alexis tells lauren,

"bro she chased me out the house?" lauren says

"imma use the bathroom real quick" i say

i get up and go to the waiting room for the bathroom and i hear a voice walking into the room, i was too glued to look up to see who it was, the person sits down and looks at me and clears throat, the person was trying to get my attention and finally got it. i look up and it was a pretty tall man, had a full sleeve of tattoos, lightskin, nice smile, and had on about two tennis necklaces on.

it was awkward silence until he said

• "wys?"

+ "nothing, wys?"

• "nothing, just came over here because you looked familiar,"

+ "yeah, i was told youve been preeing me from the moment i walked in here." as i look at him

• "not lying, you look good"

+ "mhm."

• "so are you here by yourself?"

+ "no, are you?"

• "nah, im here with friends for my birthday"

+ "oh, more life to you then,"

• "thanks"

+ "whats your name, again?"

• "jadon"

    +"imani"

          he laughs

          +" im sorry i know you?"

          • "im jadon, i dmed you yesterday"

           + "oh?"

       •  "im sorry i didnt expect you to be here, you look prettier in real life" smiling at me,

he makes me laugh a couple of times until the person got out of the bathroom, we exchange numbers and go our separate ways. he offered to walk me back to my table and i refused, i reached to the table and i guess they both saw me coming out the bathroom with jadon.

"link up with your sneaky link in the bathroom huh?" alexis jokingly

"alexis bruv i just met him." i laugh

"you lot look cute together" lauren adds on while sipping her drink

i laugh as there making jokes

as alexis moves her hair i could jadon was staring from afar,he had a strong stare hard to ignore. one of his friends turns around and i look away, we finish our food and leave the restaurant, as we walk past the table jadon winks at me and i smile back at him, one of his friends raise his eyebrows and says "this how were moving sanch?"

we go outside and order the uber and walk outside to see it pouring rain,

"oh my days, none of you lot remembered to check the weather?" i say

"and the uber is six minutes away" alexis says and kisses her teeth,

"and nobody has a umbrella?" lauren asks

alexis and i shake our head no.

we wait outside under the restaurants sign and in the corner of my eye i see somebody walking towards me.

"you good yeah" jadon asked

"does it look like it?" i ask him

"you want my jacket?"

"yeah"

he gives it to me and its smells of heavy cologne,

"thanks"

"anytime" he walks away smiling

in the distance i could see his friends dapping him up, and hyping him up.

"so thats your man now?" lauren asks

"oh my"

i see the uber and run over to escape them flooding me with questions.
