TW- BLOOD - WAR - DEATH - ABUSE/NEGLECT
( Images aren't mine )
( Kyles pov )
As I open my eyes I realize I'm in bed alone again.
Did Stanley already get up?
I heard slight yelling before a knock on the door.
" Coming..." I yawned as I opened the door.
Stanley smiled warmly at me with a tray of food again.
I let him in but took the tray.
" Good morning my king." He grabbed my hand a kissed it. What's with this dude.I take a seat and tell Stanley to sit.
I notice that his outfit has small red thread laced around the metal padding that was previously falling off.
" What's with the string?" I ask as I shove a spoon full of oatmeal in my mouth.
"Oh. I uh... fell? Yesterday, and I had to sew it up. Sorry about last night by the way."
" It's fine... your allowed to make mistakes you know."
" But... I just don't want to disappoint my father, as you know he's worked for the royals for years. So has my grandfather and great grandfather. I can't ruin there reputation..."I chuckled and nodded.
" I get that. I have to find someone to date in the kingdom, to continue the legacy for the kingdom.
I have to uphold the family's values and wishes-"
" and can't mess it up, I get it..." he smiled at me as he finished my sentence.
I smiled back at him, seeing him last night, I felt like we were the same person. Just in a different body.He felt that he had to hide how he felt. Just like me... I have to hide I'm gay. I can't date a boy, it'll ruin my family's reputation.
His father was never around when he was little, just like mine.
Mine was to busy working to even acknowledge my existence. Just like his was working for my father.
" King? Are you feeling ok?" I was shocked out of my thoughts as Stanley's hand pressed against my forehead.
" You feel fine... are you ok?" He looked down at my sweetly, causing my heart to beat faster.
I nodded at his question and stood up.As I looked down at him I saw his raven hair peak out slightly from the silver helmet he wore. His grey and blue uniform fit him perfectly, the sleeves being gone showed his skinny but slightly muscular arms.
He wasn't well malnourished as he raised himself. He was just to my shoulder when I stood, but he didn't seem to mind. Most people try to match my hight. They try to make me fell I can talk to them cause we're the same. But this boy didn't have to try.
I felt like I could talk to him... about anything." My king? Are you sure your feeling alright..? Your mother has called for you multiple times..."
Stan tapped my shoulder snapping me out of my thoughts again.
I nodded and we headed down stairs.
" Good morning son-" my father was cut off by the sounds of screaming children and bombs landing. Shaking the floor.
Stanley and Randy pulled out there swords and got in-front of my family." WE ARE UNDER ATTACK!!!!" One of the gaurds outside yelled. With that Randy, Stan, and 20 more guards ran outside.
Two guards shoved my family into our basement to protect us.
But I couldn't keep my mind off of Stanley...
Will he be ok...
He will... right?Tears started to fill my eyes.
" Darling, are you ok?" My mother asked, I never usually cried at this stuff.
" Will Stan be ok..? He's the only good guard I've had. Please tell me he'll be ok.?"
My mother pulled me close and into a tight embrace.
" I'm sure he'll be ok son." My father spoke out of the corner of the room.
Ike was in his arms crying.
" I know they all will be ok..." he spoke into Ike's ear while hugging him.( Stan's pov )
As I ran outside I saw multiple bleeding body's.
I saw cannons in the woods and knew how to get behind the men who were shooting them.
As I ran around the side of the woods I felt the ground shake and more screams.
