START A FIGHT - Errorink

CHAPTER 5

Ink's point of view:

I opened a portal to Anti-Void. Error should have been here. I wandered around a bit. I came as far as the pouf. He is watching UnderNovela as usual. He noticed that I was coming.

"Are you done?" he asked.

"No, I need your help."

"I didn't believe you could do anything without me anyway."

"What? I could have done it myself. But you better help."

He rolled his eyes at me. He didn't seem to take it seriously.

"What would you like me to do?"

"Offering something to 404?"

"Never. The matter is closed here. You can go."

"But i don't even tell what-"

"No, it's over. I won't talk to him again."

I looked at him with pleading eyes.

"Please, for the fate of the multiverse."

"What most could possibly have happened to the multiverse?"

"Come, let me show you."

I opened a portal to the ground. I stretched my hand towards him. However, he looked at me strangely.

"Haphephobia."

"Ups, sorry I forgot. Then you can open your own portal to Reaper!Tale."

He did what I said. He opened a portal and left. I went too. We are in the same place now.

"See? Almost all universes are here." I asked

"I see. How is that possible?"

"For some reason their code is broken."

Oh, they're starting to gather around me again. They will probably insult me again. I do not want to hear it.

"Look at that! This time he came with the destroyer."

"Shameless brazen! Don't act like you care about us!"

"You better die!!!"

They started again. I try to look the other way, but wherever I look, they are everywhere.

"Son of a bitch!"

"Get out of here!"

"Is our precious creator afraid?"

I'm trying to save them, but look what they're telling me. They speak without knowing. I didn't deserve to hear this.

"IF YOU ALL DON'T SHUT UP, I'LL LISTEN TO EACH OTHER TO EVERYONE'S DEATH CRY!!"

Error yelled frightfully. He had his blue strings loose all over the place. I took a step back because I was afraid. I didn't expect to hear this. My heart felt like it was going to explode. The crowd around us soon disappeared. They could no longer insult me. But I noticed that they were whispering something between them.

"Stupid anomalies. How did they get scared like kittens?"

I wanted to say something, but even I was scared. My throat was knotted. Error must have seen the fear in my eyes when he looked at me.

"Don't be afraid, Inky, I won't hurt you. I won't let them hurt you either."

Hearing those words, I looked at him in disbelief. He was smiling pleasantly at me. I was starting to feel weird. It was as if a warmth had enveloped me. But the weather was not hot. It was more reassuring. I was feeling better.

"Thank you." Yes, that's all I could say.

Error opened a control panel. He seemed to be searching for codes. He realized that many of them were corrupt. The name of au was constantly changing.

"What exactly would you want from me, Ink? What am I going to ask 404?"

"Well, uhm, I was going to ask you to ask if he could fix the broken codes."

"The codes from the AlphaTale are here. But you know the 404 is out of code. How do we find him?"

"Let's show up if I say apple, don't show up if i say pear."

"What?"

"Apple!"

Error looked at me as if to say you can't be serious. Until the 404 got here.

"I'm saying, how can a fool find me?" said 404.

"Wait a minute, I really don't believe it's working." Error said.

"See! I'm a master at this."

"Now stop your useless voice Ink and tell me what's going on here?" 404 said.

I went a little far. Error made the conversation.

"We don't know exactly what's going on. But some code is broken. Ink asks if you can fix them."

"I can fix it."

"Really?" I asked.

"Yes, but not like this. The codes are corrupted, but most of them have been erased. There is something to be rewritten."

"How were they deleted?" Error asked.

"Many of them fight and fight amongst themselves. They kill each other. It would take too long, ignoring that I killed a few of them."

It means there were some deleted codes. And I couldn't protect them. Maybe that's why they're mad at me.

Now, that I look around, I understand. They just don't hate me. There are those who cry for their dead brothers, those who lose their valuables, and those who fight for survival.

Among them I saw Swap!Sans. he's crying. He tries to stay away from everyone. He's probably afraid.

Without realizing it, I started to go to him. All the sounds around me seemed to disappear for me right now. My only goal is to calm Blue a little bit.

I'm walking fast. I'm running. I have to be there for my friend.

"BLUE!!"

He looks at me. He noticed me. He wipes his tears with his hand. However, I have already come to him. I greeted him with a big hug.

"Don't worry, I'll fix everything."

"I-ink, my brother is missing..."

"Shhhh don't cry, I promise i'll find him."

People around are looking at us. I think some of them were really touched when they saw us. Others think I'm pretending. I don't care what they think. I will keep my promise.
