The walk home

"So you two almost got ran over." Roxanne said

Max nodded

"Then you grabbed his wrist and spun him onto the path."

Max nodded

"And then you caught him on a tilt while holding onto his waist."

Max nodded

"You seemed to have done nothing wrong I mean it wasn't the mist awkwardst thing you've ever done what's the problem?" She questioned

"That's the thing I don't know we just didn't talk about it." Max replied

Roxanne nodded "Oh to be young again." She said dramatically

"We are the same age."

Thr girl shrugged in response

"I think you seriously need to stop watching that show you're getting even more dramatic than Yakko himself." Max cringed

"Oh please no one can out drama him let's be honest." She grinned "Anywhoooo I'm pretty sure it's normal for something like that to happen and not talk about it afterwards, like just a silent truce or something like we shall never talk about this again type thing." The red head explained

Max nodded for like the one hundredth time "Yeah they would make sense."

"And don't think I didn't see you two at the party." She wiggled her eye brows up and down Max just blushed slightly and glared at her, she laughed "Oooooo Max and Yakko sitting in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-" She had been cut of by Max putting his hand over her mouth.

"Roxanne as much as I love you and all you don't have to tell the entire street." He groaned

"Okay, okay got it." She smiled pushing Max's hand away gently "It's not like anyone we know is going to over hear." She said rolling her eyes he had mimicked her straight after she rolled her eyes.

"No but in all seriousness if he thought it was weird I'm pretty sure he would never talk to you again." She reassured "Also there is the fact that it did save him from getting quite literally smoothed by a car." She added

Max smiled "Oh this is my stop." She said and ran of towards her house "Bye Max!" She called waving at him as she ran.

"See you tomorrow!" He called back waiting for her to get in the house safely when his phone buzzed
