I woke up on the couch feeling wrecked after a night of drinking and partying with my mother

What a great role model

Who knew a couple shots of tequila and Daddy Yankee on repeat could have me sprawled out with a pounding head

My hair stuck right to the side of my face

I reeked of alcohol and my mom was sprawled out on top on the kitchen island, snoring cloudly

I couldn't tell if it was a fever dream or just hangover

"Mamí?!" I called out pacing forward, not seeing her breathe for a second only for her to snore out loud enough where the couch would vibrate

I hesitated to wake her up

I'll feel the wrath of a Hispanic mother and I'm not ready for my life to be ended i thought

I scoffed and sat back down on the couch trying to collect my thoughts just as her snores trailed off

Slumping down in the cushion, groaning out in pain, I rubbed my head feeling the headache start to worsen

What made it all worse is the fact that....

I couldn't stop thinking about Miguel

But why?

I heard a knock on the door, which made my heart jump at the sudden noise

I looked over to see if mom heard it, for I didn't what her to be involved in any type of disturbance if I didn't want chaos

I stretched and got up, walking to the door

Standing on my tippy toes, I looked through the peephole

"You've got to be kidding me" I sighed seeing a familiar face

"It's peter...Parker!" he said looking through the peep hole

~~
"So let me get this straight-" I squinted my eyes pinching my upper nose in frustration "Some kid from earth 1610 is an anomaly, whose very existence as Spider-Man has destabilized the multiverse?" I stated

Peter nodded casually

"Mm, This is really- this is so good" Peter chomped down some tostadas my mom whipped up after she woke up

He eats like a wild animal

I sat there staring in disgust as he talked with his mouth full

"If you don't mind me asking, why is this my problem?" I narrowed my eyes at him analyzing the way he looks and compared it to how he was the last time I saw him

He had stubble and just about the pure representation of a dad bod, just a bit fit

"Well, For starters we need you, Your smart as hell considering your scientific past" he said finishing off "We?" I raised an eyebrow

"And by we you mean-" " Yes we mean You too" he finished my sentence just as I sighed in frustration

"I don't know about this, I'm all for helping but Anomalies and...I just don't know" I rambled, fully aware that he knew that I was truly referring possibilities of running into my past
