Memory:

"You think that putting the blame on me can help hide you signs of exhaustion when all I'm trying to do Is help?" She asked, following him through the house

"Luna, Baby this is not what I need right now, not now!" Miguel brushes past her combing his hands through his hair back, in frustration

"Why?! You always shut me out, you shut me down, What are you so afraid of ?!!" She yelled just as he walked up the stair case

"ME!!" He shouted back

The house fell silent

She felt the atmosphere grow colder and colder, as it once was before she thought Miguel was a changed man

"I'm scared of me" he breathed out pointing to himself and continued walking

She stood there in silence

Unaware of the future falling apart before her, that even the blind could see

"If only you knew" she muttered

~~
Luna's POV

I stood there

Watching....waiting for Miguel to say something

He was sat with an unreadable expression pasted across his face

I could tell he had already been frowning before I came in, given his current facial expression

From what I remember, he always stood with a cold expression, but I always assumed that's how it rested so it never bothered me

He then stepped off the platform, refusing to break eye contact with me

"Luna" Miguel emerged from where he was standing, brushing forward

He was now standing in front of me

As he did so, I analyzed everything about him

The last time I saw Miguel, we were in our late 20s

I remember our relationship starting off flirtatious and before I knew it, I was pregnant with our daughter

I may have encountered another version of Miguel the other day, but boy was there a difference between the two

He was much taller than I remembered

Visibly ripped pectorals

His hair coiled to the front and the rest in the back

Tight calves, chiseled jawline

The soft muscles of his body told a story of quiet determination, of a person willing and able to put in daily effort to achieve a goal.

Not to mention the skin-tight spider suit completely covered in dirt, and enough scratches noticeable enough for a wash in due time

Much like everyone else he had on his suit—or in this case uniform—in broad daylight, ever so casually

Since when?

Given the fact that I thought the Fake Miguel looked different, This proves that there is truly an understatement amongst us all

"It's-It's been a while Lu" He stood, almost stumbling over his words due to him analyzing me from head to toe

"I think we should give these two a second to talk-" "Don't get her started, she may throw a tantrum" Hobie said
