Here's a bit of context before I start, my family got a new dog last year, and we have a backyard.
Our dog, Xena, got out because a part of our fence fell. I didn't know that it fell so I let her out and she ran around the neighborhood. I had to try and get the leash on her with the help of two neighbors. I finally got her. I felt like I was going to have a panic attack.
The only "plus" side to this is that I talked to two strangers.
