Almost a month has passed and everything has changed, drastically, and it's only getting worse. Now she's in therapy, but that's not doing much to help. She goes twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays, and depending on how things are going the occasional Saturday. Today's Monday and she just got back from therapy.
It's a medium sized room with big windows. A big desk, with a big chair to match. In the front lies a couch. That's where she sits when she visits. Today they talked about cutting. They decided she would documents when she cuts and by the next week she will show how she's been doing and the damage caused. Not to the point of no cutting, but she can go two or three days before she gives in. That's something she's proud of. Her therapist doesn't show much support like he should though and she only gets to talk with him for two hours at a time. Her father talks to Mr. Hankins and they have decided that she is to go for another month and then they will recap and see how she's doing.
On the way home they sing along to the radio and laugh at one another when they mess up a word. When they pull up along the side of the house she looks at him with confusion.
"Why aren't you parking in the driveway?" She asks him sheepishly. She knows what's going on, just doesn't want to admit it to herself. She has over heard him on the phone with another woman, more than once. Calling her things like 'baby' and 'sexy'. She tries to keep quiet about it but it's hard at times.
"I have a meeting I have to attend." He snaps, looking out of the windshield instead of at her. "I'll be late if I don't leave now..." his voice trails off.
"Oh... okay. I love you." she says quietly as she gets out of the car and closes the door.
"I love you too." He says through the window. Still not looking at her, he drives away before she can say anything else. She walks to the front door trying to compose herself so she doesn't start crying in front of her mother. Opening the door she waves at her mother and quickly makes her way to her room, closing the door behind her.
