Beep...beep...beep!

I was waking up very rudely by my alarm clock. Can't a girl get her beauty sleep! Of course, it was a no as I was rudely awoken by 𝕞𝕒 𝕞è𝕣𝕖 shaking me, hitting my cheek with her hand ever so slightly - not too hard - to wake me up.

"Mornin' sleepyhead, me and 𝕥𝕠𝕟 𝕡è𝕣𝕖 have made breakfast before you would go to the airport." She said as she opened the - how the Americans say it - blinds letting the sun rays shine in my room. As she did so I got up and headed to my walking closet to change.

"You'll love the school! Did you know me and your father fell in love there and not in Paris? Oh! You're gonna love it there! Their food is different but good either way." She continues to rumble about the place she grew up in with her sister.

"𝕄𝕒𝕞𝕒𝕟, does this look appropriate? Or even American at all?" I asked as I exited the closet fully dressed. I was wearing a white top, a pair of black jeans, my two gold necklaces, - one a chocker and the other a regular necklace - and white socks with white and black shoes.

I had my long curly blonde hair down since I think it goes better with the outfit. "𝔽𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕖, that looks so good on you!" She said as she placed a hand on my shoulder. "Come I'll be downstairs waiting!" She said as she exited my room to go downstairs.

I need to finish packing, why didn't I finish sooner?! I had time yesterday! Well, anywho I started taking the remainder stuff out of my room. I was moving to Arcadia Oaks to spend a couple of months there and if I liked it, I would stay. If I didn't like it, I'll come back home.

The good thing is I'll be with my 𝕔𝕠𝕦𝕤𝕚𝕟𝕖 Claire. The bad thing is I will go to a new school so that means I'll be the new kid, and everyone will be curious about me. Also, did I mention I'm entering like mid-end-year? No? Well, now you know.

As I finish packing I exited my room and headed downstairs. As I make it halfway through the first thing I see is my parents at the door and 𝕥𝕠𝕟 𝕡è𝕣𝕖 kissing 𝕞𝕒 𝕞è𝕣𝕖 on the lips and leaving. I finally make it down before asking, "Where's, 𝕡𝕒𝕡𝕒 going?"

My 𝕞𝕒𝕞𝕒𝕟 turns around and smiles at me, placing a hand on her hip while the other is doing these exaggerated hand movements as she speaks. "He's going to work, 𝕞𝕠𝕟 𝕒𝕞𝕠𝕦𝕣. The president called him two hours before his lunch break finished. I'm sorry, 𝕞𝕒 𝕗𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕖."

I give her a sad smile, "It's all right, 𝕞𝕒𝕞𝕒𝕟. I know he is busy. I just wished I could have told him goodbye before leaving." I made my way towards the kitchen, sitting down to eat. "You did say goodbye to him! Yesterday! Like 20 times!" We both laughed enjoying the small moment.

As I finish my breakfast I go upstairs and brush my teeth. I know I should have done it before. After, I grab my luggage, and head out the door. As I make my way outside I see my best friend, Cristina. I make my way to the car, putting my luggage in the truck.

"Ella!" My friend Cristina called over to me, waving and running towards me. I run to her and meet her halfway. "Hey! I'm gonna miss you." I told Cristina. "I'm gonna miss you too, Ella." She hugged me and I hugged back. "Isabella come it's time to go!"

I smiled and pulled out of the hug. "𝕄𝕖𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕖𝕦𝕣𝕤 𝕒𝕞𝕚𝕤 𝕡𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕥𝕠𝕦𝕛𝕠𝕦𝕣𝕤!" Me and Cristina said at the same time putting our pinkies together. I turn and run back to the car, opening the passenger seat door. "𝕄𝕒𝕞𝕒𝕟? Will I came back here?" I asked my 𝕞𝕒𝕞𝕒𝕟 as I get in the car.

"I don't know, 𝕞𝕒 𝕗𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕖. We'll just have to wait and see." She said starting the car. "Yeah, just wait and see, huh?" The car ride to the airport was quite. Just how I liked it. I wonder where this will lead to? What adventures await me? I can't wait! Arcadia Oaks here I come!
------------------------------------------------------------------
As we get to the airport I can't help but wonder if I'll even make a friend. At least one. 𝕄𝕒𝕞𝕒𝕟 opens the door to her car, as I take my seat belt off, and open the door. I make my way to 𝕞𝕒 𝕞è𝕣𝕖 as she does all the complicated stuff, like getting me a plane seat and stuff.

"𝕄𝕒𝕞𝕒𝕟, why do I have to fly alone?" I asked my - as the American say it - mother. "𝕄𝕒 𝕗𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕖, I already told you. I can't come with you. You'll be fine. I already have the plane seat for you, here." She handed me my plane ticket or whatever it is I don't pay to much attention to it.

"It's just that I'm scared. I've never been on a plane by myself. And I'm only fifteen," I lean close to her looking left and right while squinting my eyes and then looking at her and whispering, "Is this illegal?"

She just laughed at me. I was excited about flying on my own I just don't know if I'm ready for what awaits me in Arcadia Oaks. "Okay. Stop, you'll be fine. Trust me." My 𝕞𝕒𝕞𝕒𝕟 said to me as she places a hand on my my cheek.

Excitement danced in my eyes as we made our way to the gate where my plane is supposed to be. With my trusty luggage filled with all of my favorite books, a journal, sketchbook, some clothes, and snacks. Hopefully I wont get lost there but you never know what could happen there.

I felt a mixture of nervousness and anticipation in my heart. I marveled at the idea of flying high above the clouds. "Now remembered when you get there, call me"

My mother said as she hugged me and I hugged back. "𝕋𝕦 𝕧𝕒𝕤 𝕞𝕖 𝕞𝕒𝕟𝕢𝕦𝕖𝕣, 𝕞𝕒 𝕡𝕖𝕥𝕚𝕥𝕖 𝕗𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕖. 𝕊𝕠𝕪𝕖𝕫 𝕖𝕟 𝕤é𝕔𝕦𝕣𝕚𝕥é, 𝕞𝕒 𝕡𝕖𝕥𝕚𝕥𝕖 𝕗𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕖." 𝕄𝕒𝕞𝕒𝕟 said as she kissed my forehead. "I'll miss you too, 𝕞𝕒𝕞𝕒𝕟. And I'll be safe, 𝕞𝕒𝕞𝕒𝕟. Take care!" I yelled and waved as I made my way to the plane with my luggage.

Settling into in my seat, my mind began to wander. What adventures awaited me in Arcadia? Would the people I met be as friendly as the ones in Paris? Lost in thought, I barely noticed the sounds of passengers finding their seats or the flight attendants preparing for takeoff.

Just as the plane began to taxi down the runway, a kind voice broke through my thoughts. "𝔹𝕠𝕟𝕛𝕠𝕦𝕣, young lady! My name is Marie, and I'll be your seatmate today." Said a friendly woman who appeared to be in her early thirties, with a warm smile illuminating her face.

My eyes widened, grateful for the company during my first flight. Over the course of the journey, Marie shared stories of her own adventures and provided me with valuable travel advice. We laughed, shared snacks, and even played a few rounds of travel-themed games.

As the plane touched down at our destination, I felt a mixture of relief and a tinge of sadness that my time with Marie had come to an end. We exchanged heartfelt goodbyes, promising to keep in touch, and I stepped onto foreign soil, my heart brimming with newfound confidence.

As I make my way through the Arcadia airport I bump into multiple people trying to find my 𝕋𝕒𝕟𝕥𝕖 through the crowds. As I make it out of the crowd I start to look for 𝕞𝕒 𝕞è𝕣𝕖'𝕤 sister and her family. I start to wonder around the place in hopes of finding them.

"Isabella, over here!" I heard a females voice call me. I look around and I finally see my 𝕋𝕒𝕟𝕥𝕖 and her family. I run towards them and hug my 𝕋𝕒𝕟𝕥𝕖 also being careful since her baby was in her arms. "Hey, it's nice to see you again."

"It's nice to see you again as well, Isabella." She said as my 𝕠𝕟𝕔𝕝𝕖 took my luggage. "Hi, I'm Claire. You must be my cousin." A girl come up to me and had her arm out for me to shake. I hugged her instead. "Hi! I'm Isabella, nice to meet you, 𝕔𝕠𝕦𝕤𝕚𝕟𝕖!"

I pull out of the hug as my 𝕋𝕒𝕟𝕥𝕖 and 𝕠𝕟𝕔𝕝𝕖 make their way out of the airport as me and Claire follow suit. Once we make it to their car I sit on the back seat with Claire on the middle and Enrique on his baby seat. I looked out the window as we made it near Arcadia.
