Welcome to Charming
The sign read as Elizabeth sped past. She breathed a deep sigh as she pulled up to Hanna's Diner. She had been driving for a few hours and was hungry.
Walking in, she noticed the place was small and homey as she took a seat in a booth in the back and ordered a coffee. As she was drinking, she thought about what she was doing here.
"You don't need to go back and dig up old shit. What's done is done," her mother had told her before she made the ultimate decision to come back. She didn't remember anything about this place she was born in. Her mom and her had moved to Washington shortly after she was born.
"I haven't seen you around here before. Where ya from honey?" The waitress asked as she poured her some more coffee.
"Washington," Elizabeth told her, graciously accepting the fresh coffee.
"What are you doin' all the way down here?" She asked.
Elizabeth didn't answer right away. She wasn't exactly sure how to, so she settled for the simplest answer she could think of. "Family issues." The waitress nodded as Elizabeth finished up the cup quickly. She had to get to her hotel before check in was over.
Leaving a tip, she scurried out to her Chevy truck and sped down the road.
"Fuck," she yelled as the truck started sputtering and eventually came to a stop. "This is great," she said as she began to climb out of the truck and open the hood only to be choked by smoke.
"Fuck me!" She screamed.
"As much as I'd like to do that princess, I think we need to figure out what the hell is going on with your truck," she heard from behind her.
She spun around to be met with the blue eyes of the man who had said that.
"Well you're a gentleman," she retaliated.
"It's what I do, sweetheart," he told her smirking.
She shook her head, laughing. "Are you just gonna stand here and hit on me or can you actually help me?"
"Actually I can. You see that tow truck over there?" He asked as Elizabeth nodded. "My boy and I are from Teller-Morrow Automotive. I'll tow it for ya, and get it fixed," he told her.
"Oh my god, you're the best. I'm Elizabeth, my the way," she said extending her hand which he took.
"I'm Alex, but everyone calls me Tig," he told her as he waved the man over with who was driving the tow truck.
"I think I'll stick with Alex," she told him, giggling.
"You can call me whatever you want, baby," he told her winking as the bald guy he was with started hooking her truck up to the back.
===================
They pulled up to TM shortly after they finished getting her truck situated. As they got out of the car, Elizabeth looked around and saw a few men with the same leather on their backs as Tig and the man she had learned was named Happy."What's up with the leather?" She asked as Tig helped her out of the truck.
"It's our club name. It's called a cut, actually," he said to her as they met an older woman while Happy pulled the truck in the shop.
"Hey Tiggy. Who's this?" She asked as Tig placed a kiss on her cheek.
"My name's Elizabeth," she cut in as she shook Gemma's hand.
"Gemma," she replied, nodding before walking away.
Tig led her in the office after that.
"You can chill in here until your cage is done," he told her as he walked out.
=================
It had been a few hours when Tig came back in."All done," he said, handing her the keys.
"How much?" She asked him.
"Don't worry about it," he said.
"I can't let you do that for free," she said to him.
"Call it a favor. You owe me," he said winking. Giggling, Elizabeth looked at the clock behind his head.
"Oh shit," she mumbled.
"What?" Tig asked her.
"I missed check in at my hotel. It was at three," she told him, pointing at the clock that read 5:45.
"You got somewhere else to go sweetheart?" He asked her.
"No, but I'll figure something out," she said," thanks again for everything, Alex."
He nodded, but grabbed her arm as she was about to walk out.
"You can stay here," he said.
"Sleep in the office?" She asked, confused.
"No, we got beds in the clubhouse. I'll show you," he said.
Elizabeth didn't know why, but she agreed.
*Okay, I did it guys! Please let me know what you think! Slow start, but it'll heat up! Much love xxx*
