Sophie was now in 4th grade, she had relapsed. She started to scratch herself while being mad at herself or other people, you can say it was a habit. She had extreme anger issues, she would lash out at her friends or family or anybody in fact. She couldn't control herself and it wasn't going to get better, she knew that.
She had distanced herself with her mother and best friend, she couldn't tell her mother that she had loved her. I'm sure she did though, when her mother would leave for work and dropped her kids off at their grandparents house, Sophie wouldn't tell goodbye to her mother. She wanted to but she just couldn't, Sophie started acting out in school more, hanging with the wrong people or maybe other people just thought that. Sophie's friends were perfect to her, they distracted her sometimes so her grades weren't exactly the highest but she made an effort. She wasn't going to fail 4th grade but her mother, who lived with her boyfriend and her kids plus a step daughter, was certain she was going to so she made Sophie stop talking to Chloe. At first Sophie was sad until she found someone else to fangirl over.
When 4th grade started, Sophie had a new crush on someone as if not every 4th grader had. His name was Jesus (Hey-Sues) but he had dated her friend in the past, or the girl he dated wasn't really her friend. His ex girlfriend was mainly hated by a lot of people including her "friends", though Jesus and her would break up and get back together a lot. Jesus decided he was tired of her and lost interest in her and later unexpectedly had a crush on Sophie! Sophie did kinda catch feelings but knew it was wrong to date someone's ex, especially when you hang out with that person... Sophie didn't want to like him but he was cute in her eyes, like adorable but not hot or anything like that.
A month later, Sophie asked Aralyssa if she could date Jesus, and Aralyssa said she could. Then something had happened... one of Sophie's best friends told her at library that Jesus was planning on asking Sophie out and Sophie was disappointed her friend had told her, she wasn't going to say no, as she was a bit of a crybaby.
Later that day though, Sophie was talking to his friend Santiago and they got along really well.
Sometimes even Sophie felt comfortable with Santiago.
