Epilogue: How The Seven Have Fallen

The nurse arrives and finds Tae sitting with his head in his hands, elbows resting on his knees. He softly speaks, "Mr. Kim?"

Tae looks up and quickly stands, "Is it Sunni? Is she ok?"

"She is doing well, the surgery went very well, and she is heading to recovery. Once she is awake, we will be bringing her up to her suite. So if you want to head there and wait for her."

Tae shakes his head, "I want, NO, I need to see her now please."

The nurse sighs and pats his shoulder, "Let me check, but she won't be awake."

"I don't care. I need to see her."

Tae is pacing when the nurse comes back and smiles, "Come with me, Mr. Kim. You can see her for a few minutes."

He rushes in, and she sees him and smiles. She holds out her hand, and he takes it in his. He then kisses her hand, her cheek, and her lips.

"Are you ok? I was so worried." He notices there is a bag of blood hanging on an IV pole connected to Sunni, and he starts to feel light headed.

She squeezed his hand softly, drawing his attention away from the bag. "I'm okay now. We have our family. I love you, Tae."

Smiling his boxy smile, she loves it so much. "I love you too. Thank you for our children, but let's never do this again. Don't think I could take it." He grins.

"No worries, my love. How are the babies? Have you been to see them?"

"Yes, I have, but only for a few minutes. They are wonderful. My god, Sunni, I love you so much."

"As I you. Do you think we can get a Norland Nanny like Nabi?"

He laughs, "We should get two or three Bannies."

"What is a banny?"

"Baby nannies, bannies." You both laugh.

"You need to tell the others about the babies. I know they are waiting and probably wondering what is going on by now."

Tae groups chats with everyone and lets them know the babies have been born safely and are doing well. He also tells them there were some issues with Sunni, but she is fine now and will be brought to her room shortly.

Hobi took Dani back to the lake house before they were born because her midwifery skills weren't needed, and she wanted to help with the children there.

Everyone is happy and celebrating in Sunni's large maternity suite. At the house, Dani tells everyone they can visit, and she will stay with the children.

Dani asks Jin, "Can you livestream your visit so we can see the babies, too?"

He kisses her, "Anything for you."

"Thank you, nom-nom."

He smiles happily as he heads out with the others. Jungkook is laughing.

"Hi nom nom." Jin, still smiling, keeps going by him.

"Stob it, Kooki."

Jungkook hurries by Jin, going "nom, nom, nom." as he heads to the suv.

"You little pest," calls Jin as he tries to playfully kick him in the butt.

Back at the hospital, Sunni's private suite was set up for the family on the new maternity wing just for this event. It has special monitoring equipment and incubators for the babies. That way, the babies can stay in the same room as their parents, Taehyung and Sunni.

Sunni is resting in bed, and four incubators and equipment needed for preemies are along one wall. After the nurses shooed them out to the waiting room until they got Sunni and the babies situated, they hurried back in, excited to meet the babies.

They all hug Sunni and ask how she is doing. "I'm fine, tired but fine." Then, one by one, they move to stand and admire the babies in their incubators. Yoongi starts looking around, confused.

"Where is Taehyung? Shouldn't he be here?"

Sunni tries to keep a straight face, "Tae honey, you can come out now."

Everyone looks around, confused, wondering what is going on.

Tae steps out from behind the curtain rolling a fifth incubator in front of him. He places it next to the others. They look at the other babies then back at Tae.

Jimin looked back and forth at the four babies he saw when he came in, and the one Tae had just placed by the others. He rubbed his face before pushing back his hair, confused.

"Wait, where did that one come from?"

Yoongi elbows him, "Do I need to explain the birds and bees to you again?"

Jimin pouts at him. "No."

"Then you know where that one came from."

Yoongi looks at Sunni, "Where did that one come from?"

Everyone is laughing, except Yoongi and Jimin.

Still standing next to the youngest of his babies, Tae smiles, "She's our surprise baby."

Sunni smiles at everyone, "She was hidden behind the twins."

Jungkook is shook, "Wait, what? You had twins, too!?"

Lilly and her sisters hug Sunni, crying with happiness that she and the babies are all doing fine.

Lilly wonders if Sunni knew, "Did you know Tae always wanted a large family?"

She laughs, and Tae says, "Yes, she did, but we weren't expecting all at once."

Everyone laughs and then admires the addition to the additions.

THUS ENDS THE STORY... well, almost.

The original 7 gave a legendary farewell concert years later and retired the group, but they still made special appearances and did interviews. Singing and performing together was in their blood and always would be, even in their 50s and 60s. They enjoyed being with their wives, watching their children grow up into adults, and starting families of their own.

Author's Note: There is an epilogue to this epilogue lol as to what they do when they retire and what their children grow up to become or do and what Bam becomes and Tannie has to do. But I will save that....for now.
