I then hear someone speak up " Lia Paine eldest daughter of ferigo Paine , you are a brave girl for trying to take me for a fool" he walks towards her and touches her hair
" don't touch me" she says
" feisty, now I see why ferigo gave his eldest daughter away to marry Levino and not his youngest what's her name again? Cleo"

My eyes widen at what he said And I look over to josh and he gives me a affirming look telling me It's gonna be ok

" don't hurt her!!!!" I get up from behind the bush
„"look who it is , the birthday girl!"
He then points at me and signals me to move over into the center holding a gun in my direction
I move infront of Lia and she moves out of the way
"I would like to give you a bday gift as someone very close to your father"
Then Leo gets pulled out of a car tied up and thrown to the floor in front of me
My heart sank to the bottom of my stomach as I watched him with wounds I so badly wanted to run to him and help him but I couldn't
" why don't you wish your sister a happy bday, I mean you haven't seen her the whole day"
" noli timere bene I erit okay parati ad currendam non respicere" he barely gets out of his mouth
( translation- don't be scared okay I will be okay be ready to run and do not look back)
" don't take me for a fool speak English!!" The man gets mad
" happy birthday sis" I look at him and his eyes pointing to the side and I look over to see a car in the distance on its way and all of a sudden I hear police cars in the distance
" ughhh police like to end the fun"
" your bday ends in exactly 10 min so why don't I give you a gift" the man says with a smirk on his face
All his guards start getting back into the car as the sirens get closer and the car I saw earlier come closer into view
Meanwhile I'm staring deep into Leos eyes confused as to what the man meant
Fixed in my position a car pulls up next to josh and Lia meanwhile I'm standing across the man with Leo infront of him on the floor
The man looks at me with a smirk and says " this is my birthday gift to you Cleo Paine" I look at Leo and he says " te amo sis" in a split second the man pulls the trigger
As I watch blood seeping from Leo's chest I fall to the ground with tears filling my eyes, everything went silent
My whole world stopped
Josh and Lia pick me up from the ground and drag me into the car and drive off as the cops aproach the scene
As we are driving off josh and Lia panicking and the driver whom I don't know all start shouting
I can't handle all of this as I shout
"Everyone shut up !!!!"
They all go silent
" we need to turn around , we CANT JUST LEAVE LEO THERE" I start sobbing again
" my BROTHER IS THERE TURNNNN AROUNDD!!!!!"
I start shouting while tears are falling down my face my haert is aching right now
" Cleo We can't go back if we do we will all be in trouble"
" Leo is gone we can't do anything now, LEO IS DEAD CLEOOO HE IS GONEE" josh yells at me
" BUT leoo..." my voice starts getting fainter as Realisation hits me again and my haert breaks again when my last bit of hope gets destroyed by his words.
I watched my brother, the one person who protected me, my hero my everything.....
He is Gone not only is his presence gone but his smile his words of affirmation his words of comfort his words of protection not only his words but his presence was like a shield of comfort love and patience that would never leave me never forsake me
Not only did I loose my brother today I lost a part of myself I will never get back
