Unexpected

Chapter 2 : Where's Maggie?

I stood there frozen, when a voice snapped me out of my fear.
"Who's there?" Asks Maggie innocently.
BANG! BANG! BANG! I hear on the door again followed with a harsh voice saying to let him in.
"Come on Maggie, we gotta get out of here!" I say shaking not sure what's going on.
Maggie starts to scream as soon as the door busts down revealing a tall, dark dressed man with a knife. I grab Maggie and run towards my room, and slam it shut, while putting a chair to the door handle.
"Come out here now!" I hear the knife digging into the door, while the man beats on my door. What does he want? What is happening here? I look for something to knock him out with, but I'm too late. He kicks open the door with surprising strength. He grabs my wrists as I try to kick him and scratch at his face. He begins to squeeze his large, cold hands around my small neck making me cough.
"MAGGIE, RUN!" I managed to choke out. And then I heard a loud thud. I was knocked out. Hitting my head aginst the bedframe before I saw the man, run after my baby sister. I drifted off to an unwanted sleep, with the screams of helpless Maggie in the distance, as my vision began to blur into absolute darkness.
