Izuku groaned as he regained conciseness. 'What happened?' He thought as he glanced around trying to regain his bearings. 'The last thing I remember is...!' As he thought back his eyes shot fully open as his memories returned.
The final battle with All For One.
Izuku leaped out of the chair he was sitting in. 'Where is that bastard?!' He thought furiously as he looked around trying to find any signs of him or any other villains. Only to find himself in a what appeared to be in a dark room with stars darted around. With the only other things in the room the chair he was in and a much fancier looking one. "Where am I?" He muttered aloud, weary of what else could be around.
"Uhm, I'm kinda wondering that too."
Izuku whirled around on instinct, a furious snarl on his lips as he is arm reared back readying a punch. Only to come face to face with a cowering teen. He looked to be about 16 years old with green eyes and brown hair and was wearing a green tracksuit. 'Just a kid.' Izuku thought as he slowly lowered his arm. 'And one I didn't pick up with my Haki even though he was sitting right next to me!' Izuku thought frustrated as he attempted to calm himself down.
So with a deep breathe to both calm himself down and get his Haki under control Izuku once more faced the teen. "Sorry about that. Last thing I remember was being in a fight before blacking out. Waking up in an unfamiliar place didn't help with my nerves." Izuku tried to explain while keeping it vague. "No worries. Completely understandable" The boy squeaked, completely terrified.
"And why wouldn't he be? He had woken up in a place he didn't recognize and next to a teen a couple years older than him, but that wasn't the important part. The teen in front of him was built like a tank, had green hair and was dressed like a gang member. It didn't help that the green haired teen had admitted he was in a fight just before waking up here. The fact that while the older boy's clothes were in tatters with scraps clinging to him the teen himself didn't have so much as a scratch on him didn't exactly calm him down.
Izuku saw this and sighed but before he could attempt to calm the younger teen down his Haki picked up a new presence. "Izuku Midoriya and Sato Kazuma, I'm afraid you both have died. My condolences." The new comer informed. She was a girl around their age with blue hair and eyes along with an exotic looking dress.
"I am the goddess Aqua, and I welcome the two of you to the after life." She said as she sat in the fancy looking chair.
The now named Kzuma's eyes were fixated on Aqua while Izuku remained cautious. The girl was strong but not really noteworthy. However the aura around the girl was definitely not human. It wasn't anything malicious but Izuku wasn't going to let his guard down around her.
Especially after what she just said.
"Did you just say the two of us are dead?" Izuku asked with narrowed eyes while Aqua seemingly ignoring it nodded. "Indeed I truly am sorry." She said and while it sounded like she meant Izuku thought it sounded a little too dramatic for it to be genuine.
But that wasn't Izuku's main concern at the moment. His mind was already racing with questions. The big two being how exactly did he die? And why wasn't the Revive-Revive Fruit activating? 'Could it be her doing?' Izuku thought with narrowed eyes.
Kazuma meanwhile sighed. "So I'm dead huh?" He seemed to mutter to himself before facing Aqua. "What about the girl? Is she at least fine?" He asked with Aqua nodded. "Yes she's fine." to which Kazuma sighed in relief. "Thank goodness."
Meanwhile Izuku glanced towards the younger teen with a bit more respect. 'So he sacrificed himself to save the life of another huh?' He thought impressed with the selfless act. "At least my death counted for something good then." He heard the younger man say with a smile.
