New Dog (JxE)

Eddie's POV:

I kissed Gaege goodbye before grabbing the car keys off the bench and going to the car outside. I hopped in and put the key in the ignition and turned it to start the engine. I drove out of the driveway and onto the road, heading towards the place I needed to go. After fifteen minutes of driving I arrived at the place which was a house made of brick with a cream coloured roof. I hopped out of my car and knocked on the front door which was opened by a younger man in his early twenties with dark brown hair and green eyes. 

"Hello, I'm here about the puppy." I said and his eyes lit up as he smiled at me. He began to nod his head as he looked over his shoulder.

"Yes, come in. I'm Jacob." He replied as he stepped out of the way and let me inside. He led me to the loungeroom where there was two little puppies sleeping on the couch. They had a beautiful coat with a mixture of grey and many shades of brown. 

"Wow, they're beautiful. What breed are they?" I asked since I had already what breed it had said on the post I saw. 

"Kelpie cross Koolie. As you can see they make a very unique coating." Jacob replied and I nodded my head. It was the first time I had ever seen a dog with this coat and already I was in love.

"What are their genders?" I asked as one of the dogs lifted their heads up to look at me. It had big hazel eyes which reminded me of Gaege's eyes. 

"One is a male and the other is female. The male is the one looking at you." He replied as I began to rub the dogs ears. Something told me to pick the male since I knew Gaege would love it. 

"I'll take the male. How much would you like for him?" I asked and Jacob began to shake his head as I pulled my wallet out of my pocket. 

"You can have him for free. Just promise me you'll take care of him." He replied and I nodded my head as I slipped my wallet back into my pocket. 

"I promise I will. Me and my boyfriend will spoil him." I said and Jacob gave me a broad grin as he clipped a lead to the male puppy's collar. He then handed me the leash and petted the puppy one last time. 

"Thank you, good luck with the puppy." Jacob said and I smiled at him before leading the puppy outside and taking it to my car. I helped it up on the passenger seat before walking around the car and sitting on my seat. I started the engine as the puppy jumped around on the seat beside me. 

Gaege's POV:

I was sitting on the couch waiting for Eddie to come home with a new puppy that he had gone to get. I already had a name for it depending on what gender it was. I was watching some show on tv when I heard the front door open so in the speed of light I was up and in front of Eddie and the cutest puppy I had ever seen. 

"Omg, it's adorable. What gender is it?" I asked and Eddie looked at me with a shine in his gorgeous dark brown eyes and a smile on his face. 

"Male." He replied and I squatted down to pat the puppy. The puppy jumped up on my knee and began to lick my face as I laughed with joy. 

"I'm going to name him Calypso." I said and Eddie nodded his head as he watched me with a massive smile that just kept growing.

"It's perfect. But then again all your ideas are." Eddie replied and I smiled at him as I felt my face begin to heat up. Even after dating for a year he could still make me blush. 

"Shush, your making me blush." I said as I stood up and Eddie quietly chuckled before planting a soft kiss on my lips. I smiled slightly as I kissed him back before we were broken apart by Calypso jumping up on our legs. 

"Let's go sit on the couch." Eddie said as he unclipped the leash from Calypso's collar and we walked to the loungeroom with the puppy trailing behind us. We sat down on the couch and Calypso sat down on Eddie's lap with his head resting on my legs. 

"Thank you for getting a puppy." I thanked Eddie as I rested my head on his shoulder. He looked down at me and smiled before giving me a soft kiss on the top of my head.

"Anything for you. Next will be a child." Eddie joked and I felt my face heat up as I quickly shook my head. I didn't really want children, not at this stage anyway. 

"Maybe in a few more years. Let's just see how we handle a fur baby first." I replied and he nodded his head as he quietly chuckled. Calypso looked up at us and tilted his head curiously as he listened to us. I smiled as I petted his head.

"He really is adorable and one of the prettiest dogs I've ever seen." I said and Eddie nodded his head in agreement as we both looked at Calypso studying his stunning coat.

"Not as adorable as you but close to it." Eddie replied and I blushed again as Eddie looked at me with a teasing look on his face. I rolled my eyes as I softly laughed. 

"You're so stupid. But I still love you." I said as I smiled at him with a big toothy grin. He smiled back as he gently petted Calypso. 

"I know you do, and I do too." He replied as I inched closer to his face and kissed him. He kissed back as Calypso got up and started jumping all over us. We both began to laugh as we gave him pats. 

"We love you too Calypso." We both said and he buried his head in-between us. I rested my head back on Eddie's shoulder feeling super happy and lucky. I had a beautiful dog and the best boyfriend in the entire world. 

A/N: Yes, this is mainly about my new dog in the picture above. Can you blame me? His such a beautiful dog but an absolute pain in the ass. I still love him though.
